Chilcabamba Lodge

Staying at Chilcabamba Lodge was even better than I could imagine. I want to personally thank Jessica for her incredible service and to all the amazing staff for their detailed attention to us. As ecuadorian I'm very proud of you and all your hard work. I had never been before at Cotopaxi and it was an incredible experience to stay at your lodge. Jessica organized all of our menus and activities with so much care and details. The accommodations were so comfortable and the view of the Cotopaxi from our room is beyond my words. The food was extraordinary, all of it: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I would really recommend staying with you and I hope I can visit you soon one more time. Thank you for an incredible weekend out of the chaos of the city and let us stay in contact with nature. Maria and Kleber.

We stayed here while visiting Cotopaxi National Park. The lodge is very comfortable with lovely staff. Meals are great. Some nice walks directly from the hotel and great views of Cotopaxi! Very comfortable rooms with a fireplace in each room.

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the activities provided at this unique lodge. Settled in the Cotopaxi National Park with breathtaking views. Our room was comfy and clean. The staff was courteous and professional. Highly recommended.

We stayed for four nights at the lodge. It was a very cosy and warm experience - despite having to wait out a 48hour bad weather front that passed. Its a great base to explore Cotopaxi NP. Definitly do the horse riding. We attempted the waterfall hike but had to turn around as the weather was a bit foul.

A lovely mountain lodge with nice gardens and surrounding area about an hour from national park with the much photographed Cotopaxi volcano for lots of walks including getting to the refuge of Cotopaxi if the weather permits. There is no guarantee of seeing the volcano like in lots of photos so go with lower expectations and you may well get a treat. The Lodge itself has nice rooms which are heated by wood burners and a bathroom with a shower. The water temperature was a bit erratic but it did not cause us any problems. They have thick wollen ponchos to use if needed. The gardens are pretty and lots of different plants. The staff are very helpful. I seem to recall there was no choice at dinner but I may be wrong & I cannot honestly remember what breakfast was. The night before we left they gave us a breakfast box as we left at 4am which was much appreciated.

Very clean, neat place to stay with view of Cotopaxi directly from the beautiful garden, very nice and helpful staff, good breakfast and dinner (especially the main course). Deluxe family room with Cotopaxi view a little bit dark and small rooms and not really good Cotopaxi view, would take other room next time, they are grander and nice big windows. Overall a great place to stay!

very nice staff in a comfortable facility , beautiful setting, rooms maybe need different heat as fireplace cooks. Food good quality, no choice of where to have dinner or breakfast in area so a little expensive without options,,set dinner menu take it or leave it.Cotopaxi down the road,car or transport mandatory.

The place is decorated amazing. Viewing the catopaxi mountain. Jessica is very nice and explaining everything with a patient and helped us with whatever we needed. There is a nice waking path to a cabin with an option to fish. And of course a base for going to the national Ctopaxi park, some nice waterfall tracks ext.

The level of hospitality there is unimaginable. Great, attentive Staff, amazing food, and the room... i'll give 10 out of 5. Amazing! View at the Cotopaxi volcano, lots of animals around, great trips. As a hotelier with 15 years of experience I can tell you one thing. Chilcabamba is a level of service I dream about in our hotel.
