Waterview Motel Maclean

Room clean and tidy, but on the main road and was very noisy all night long. Shower had no pressure what so ever, luckily it was just an overnight stay as I would not stay any longer. Staff confused about the price also, as it was different from their website

We highly recommend. It was very affordable with really lovely friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay, we had the family room which was very comfortable, with plenty of seating. Lovely view of the water, nice place to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun . Lovely walk along the river .

My wife and I rode our Harleys thru one of the worst hail storms I have ever seen South of Maclean. We arrived at the Waterview Motel, to be greeted by the beautiful young lady at the front desk. Once we got checked in, they couldn’t do enough for us, ensuring our soaking clothes were dried for the next day. Absolute pleasure to stay there. Rooms very nice, comfy beds, all facilities needed. Even the neighbour insisted I put my bike in his car port. My wife had cover for hers at the motel. Highly recommend this Motel, and it won’t be the last time we stay there.

We stayed there for 2 nights. Very clean motel, friendly staff. Room was a good size. The room is cleaned and made up daily which was nice. Only complaint is our room which was 1, was closest to the busy road that leads into town. My advice is to try and book a room towards the back of the motel as the traffic noise in our room was quite loud.

What a great place to stay for the night. The staff were welcoming and the rooms were a good size with good amenities and spotless. For an overnight rest stop we couldn’t fault it. The town was an easy walk and sunset from the front of the motel was picturesque.

The rooms are traditional motel size however inefficient use of space. The mattress in our room was getting a bit old - could feel it in the backs the next morning. The airconditioner worked well. There was a fair bit of road noise. The price is good, but worth paying a little extra for a better for a good sleep.

This place is absolutely great! The hosts are absolutely beautiful (Anne) and the Motel is extremely well maintained. The rooms are warm and cosy, extremely well maintained and in close proximity to the gorgeous little town of Maclean! Being a travelling Sales Rep, I am generally given the same room because they know I like it, now that’s wonderful service that they remember to do something like that. It is always generally busy which gives you the indication it’s a great spot! Extremely recommended!

The motel is just off the highway. It is clean and well appointed. The breakfast was tasty. We plan to stop there again. The town has some interesting buildings. I agree with others that the price is very reasonable

Anne was very helpful from the first phone call to make a booking right through to our departure at the end of our stay. Rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious; you could even lose yourself in the ensuite. Importsantly, the bed was also very conmfortable. Breakfast was available and arrived ontime - many motels are not doing this anymore. Thanks Anne for a wonderful stay.
