Very good location and facilities are outstanding however quite noisy in the evenings with being near the BCM Club

Just back from a great family holiday in Oct half term,all staff worked hard,everywhere was clean,lots to do & lovely beach nearby,we went in the theme park everyday,crazy golf & upside down house our favourites but enjoyed all the park had to offer.Splashzone & soft play worked on a session basis but gave plenty of time in both,both large & small pools were well manned with lifeguards,some of our party were especially delighted as Strongbow was on draught in main bar & pool bar🍻lots of choice for food & each night was themed,cakes were the best Iv ever had,very tasty & proper slices,lots of sweets & fruit too & self serve ice cream ,entertainment was very good some nights,there was a candy floss machine which for a small price,you could choose your own design/flavour,fabulous . My only negative was the queueing system at the evening meal,one long queue formed & took 10-15 mins to complete & maybe the children’s disco could be improved but having said this we had a great holiday & would 100% recommend for families, Well done to all the staff👏

Sol Katmandu is a fantastic place for families. We were only there for four days but managed to spend every waking minute inside the resort chilling out and having fun. The splash park and Upside Down house were brilliant - managed most of the attractions two or three times. The only minor downside was the evening entertainment. We had three children aged 12-14, and once the pool and attractions had closed, they were bored. The kids entertainment is aimed more at younger children. Maybe it's just the time of year, but we are definitely looking at coming back during the summer holidays very soon! The food and drink was amazing. Different dishes every day. Was a little confused with the rules of the pool area - we were told that food isn't allowed within 1 metre of the pool, yet we were sat about 15 metres from the pool and still wasn't allowed to take food to our sunbeds...yet there were a small minority of people that seemed to do this without being challenged. That said, we will definitely be back!

So apparently the hotel manager is ok with a grown man video children around the pool and other communal areas without the consent on parents which is a massive safeguarding concern. As a parent myself this would be a massive problem for me as a guest. The videos are being put on their facebook page to over 1 million subscribers (faces not being blurred out either) as a big. Business I would have thought the privacy was a priority. Avoid if your children are your main concern!

Amazing hotel with plenty to do especially for little ones. My little girl is a very fussy eater so we normally eat out on holiday to try and find what she likes, but they have a lovely selection of food here with something for everyone and my little girl absolutely loves it. The rooms are spotless, staff are friendly and have noticed that Rightguys reviews Mark, Lucy and little Vinny are holidaying here too and are enjoying it as much as us! We are really enjoying their lives of the hotel and showing us other things to do around the area too which is very helpful and we will definitely go to some of the places they've recommended in Magaluf!

I am yet to visit the hotel and resort but was in two mines with this area and another area of Spain. As a follower of Right Guy Reviews I love seeing their reviews as it’s always honest and if they reccomend or don’t reccomend. It’s been nothing but amazing reviews of your resort! Therefore please expect a booking from myself for my family looking forward to visiting. P.s please keep them safe as there are some nasty people stalking them on there holiday

Fantastic and saw right guys reviews! Omg how lucky to have bumped into Mark Lucy and little vinny. Followed this lovely family for years and was so excited to see them in a hotel i was staying in, they were very polite and no one had any issues with them filming. The hotel as a whole was impressive and we will definitely be back. There's so much for the kids to do! Was worried as in magaluf but no need to be as its just fantastic. Staff lovely, hotel clean, food has lots of choice, lots of activities and just generally fun atmosphere. Those who follow right guys reviews will see an honest review and im sure will book here.

This is the second time here at Sol Kathmandu, room 816 (I rarely return unless I think it's truly amazing) . The hotel is clean and well staffed, reception, activerties and bar staff do a great job. The free activities on site is great. Local food and drink are fabulous. Even if you have paid for all food on site, trust me and get out and try other sites too along the beach. Cleaners 🧹 do a good job however the floor was not as clean to be expected. Food 🥖🥘 on site was good and even my fussy son always found something to eat. Couple of let downs compared to last time I was here. The Air conditioning ❄️ was awful! In April we have had to sleep with the doors open as the aircon warmed the rooms even when set to the coldest settings! Minor issue - The extractor fan in the bath room doesn't work Minor issue - shower door leaks 🚿💦 so get a very wet and slippery floor. How ever traveling out of peak season dose mean you get a good night sleep and your not disturbed by parting kids untill dawn 😝 Dose this mean I'll not return..... For kids this place is amazing however I'm sad to say but I'll probably not return.

Do NOT pay any of your hard earned cash to stay here!! Upon first arrival the hotel looked nice the room seemed ok for myself and my partner and my 4year old son. We had paid for a double bed (laughable! - was two singles pushed together) and one single bed, but my son was on a chair bed. Which I thought was disappointing but not the end of the world. I had to stuff pillows down either side so he wouldn’t fall down the gaps. Anyway, I thought it’s just somewhere to sleep and some nights he got in the large double (two single beds pushed together) with us. The room itself seemed clean enough. We were on the 6th floor and had the noisiest of other guests staying on that floor. Screaming and shouting and swearing at like 2/3am every night coming back drunk from where ever they had been! Expected though for magaluf. Food - well do not pay to stay here all inclusive. The food was very bland and boring. Everyday and every meal was the same! We ate out (fast food as not much else in magaluf to eat) more than we ate at the hotel. Whilst nothing was raw it was just terrible. Pool/ splash park - pool wasn’t open until 10am and closed at 5/6pm Now I don’t know about your young kids but mines up from anytime between 6 and 7am. Now to have to wait that long to go down and play in the pool when your kids been up for hours is painful! The splash park only opens from 12! And half of it was shut off. Now some days when you go in here the little kids are allowed on the bigger slides. Other days they are not. Depends on which staff member is pissed with power on the day you decide to use the splash park. You try explaining to your kid they can’t go on the big slides today even though yesterday they were living their best lives on them only a mere 24hrs beforehand! The kids pool was grubby and the main pool also murky and boring. The park was ok, but had to pay extra for the golf and the wait time for the 4d attractions was longer than the ride itself and not everything worked. The house - this was very good. But lasted about 10/15 mins. There’s only so many times you can go in there without being bored. Soft play and kids club. These were ok. Nothing to report on these really. As expected. Evening entertainment - if you could call it that. Very dull and boring. Not entertaining at all. Now despite a very long 10 days here. It was finally time to go home. When we got home I noticed what at first thought I thought was chickenpox bitse on myself and my son’s arms. (I assumed chicken pox because there was a child on the last day in the kids pool with them!) anyway these said bites did not go away. Over the course of some time they kept appearing. Then one night I awoke to a bug on my pillow in my bed. I lifted my storage bed up and found bed bugs. The source of where they had come from was the suitcase I had stowed under my bed from my visit here!!… now I can’t 100% confirm they did come from this hotel as I did not see anything whilst I was there.
