ホワイ・ノット・ホテル(Why Not Hotel)

A basic hotel that’s in very good location within the historic town. Will stay here again.

Location was great and staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They didn’t clean my room the first day even though daily housekeeping is promised. Also hot water and WiFi were not good.

The value we get from this hotel was incredible. The location is amazing and centric. The staff is good and the place was clean. Is not the quietest or best for relaxing, but great to see and explore Antigua.

Property was in a centrally located area downtown. Didn’t have to walk far for anything–food, snacks, souvenirs, site seeing. Room was very clean. Only thing is the walls are thin and can head upstairs. Stayed in a private room/private bath. Would stay again

We first stayed here before and after our Acatenango trip and a second time after our Pacific Coast return. Amazing buidling, cool and spacious rooms and a fabulous roof top terrace overlooking Antigua and the volcanoes. The location is very central and most sites and agencies at short walking distance. From the central bus drop it was a 10min walk. Baggage storage during an Acatenango hike is available. Bathrooms and toilets are shared but clean and maintained several times a day.

Found this a very pleasant place to stay. The location is great, there is a rooftop deck with views of the Fuego Volcano erupting in the distance and the staff were very kind. The rooms are basic but comfortable and there are lounging areas with bean bags if you just want to chill somewhere. Highly recommend!

I had a single room and it was a basic accommodation but served my purpose. Convenient to everything and considering this was very quiet. Loved the rooftop. You were unable to have the window open and close the blind which was not an issue because it was cool. If it were warmer I think it would be a problem so a fan might be helpful.

I had a great experience at Why Not. I arrived at 8am from El Salvador on little sleep. Andrés checked if my room was available and let me pass early to rest. The rooms are great for the price. Very reasonable. Beautiful terrace with views of all the volcanos. Andrés and Sofia were very helpful throughout my stay. They always assisted and made me feel welcomed. Very central location at an excellent price. --------- Tuve una gran experiencia en Why Not. Llegué a las 8 am desde El Salvador durmiendo poco. Andrés revisó si mi habitación estaba disponible y me dejó pasar temprano para descansar. Las habitaciones son geniales por el precio. Muy razonable. Hermosa terraza con vistas a todos los volcanes. Andrés y Sofía fueron de gran ayuda durante mi estancia. Siempre me ayudaron y me hicieron sentir bienvenido. Ubicación muy céntrica a un precio excelente.

Your turn place, good stuff, very clean only two showers for the Hostel people sharing dorms, the staff are helpful and understanding, the check out time is so strict at 11:00 after that you pay 100 Q
