Excellent Hotel service, fantastic location, yummy breakfast, excellent room service, very comfortable and friendly, helpful staff members. Overall it's a very beautiful luxurious hotel, No complaints. I will definitely stay here again for my next Umrah/hajj🕋🤲🥰😍

It was a great experience overall. The reception staff was really helpful. Although haram is only 5 minutes walk away they have shuttle service available every 5 minutes. It drops you off very close to Al Tauheed hotel.

Very good hotel with comfortable amenities, but it is not within walking distance to Al Haram in Makkah. A shuttle bus is available, which helps with transportation. The staff experience was mixed — the male front desk team could benefit from significant customer service training, as their approach felt a bit aggressive and lacked warmth. In contrast, the female staff members were much more professional and caring. I especially want to highlight a lady in niqab who assisted us with booking a car from the hotel to the train station. She went above and beyond, refusing to leave after her shift had ended and staying to ensure we secured the car on time. Unfortunately, I did not catch her name, but she was truly outstanding! One disappointment was with the connected rooms — unlike the photos, they did not feature king beds. Instead, we received four single beds (two in each room), which was not ideal for a small family. Overall, it was a good stay, but the hotel should improve cleanliness and maintenance. Despite being a relatively new property, it was clear that facilities management and housekeeping standards could be much better.

It was a wonderful experience being my 2nd time in the same hotel. Check in was a bit hectic as there were no rooms and we had to hang around for an hour or more. Overall, it was worth it

The hotel is good the service from the staff and cleaners was good. The location ain’t so great have to walk like 10 mins for food but there is coffee shop located near by. It is a good 15/20 min walk to the clock tower however they do provide a bus but you still have to walk to the entry gate

A very nice and clean hotel, close to the Haram, and buses arrive every ten minutes. They care a lot about the guests, and the lobby is very luxurious and large. They give you cookies when you arrive, and there is Saudi coffee at the entrance and flowers everywhere. It deserves to be a five-star hotel. The breakfast is beautiful and varied, and the staff are cheerful.

DoubleTree has always been my choice since i first stayed here in 2022. This is my 3rd time staying and the level of hospitality and service is so wonderful. I tried other hotels on my last visit in January 2025, but it wasn't great, so here I am back at DoubleTree. The location to the Grand Mosque of Makkah is fairly reasonable - one can walk (via Hilton Convention Hotel) - sloped surface, or take the complimentary shuttle that stops at Hilton Conrad on Jabal Omar. Wear good walking shoes. Mr. Ahmed Elsayed at the restaurant is a top-notch manager. I only mentioned something to him, and he had his colleague make it especially for me. That was totally unexpected and they both went out of their way to ensure that it was a problem. They did it again the next day. Such personable service from both gentlemen and the others at DoubleTree Makkah. The room was spacious, clean, bathroom had Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. The bed was super comfortable and I slept very well which is something rare! And of course the signature cookies i love. Thank you!!

Overall this is a good but dated hotel. The location is fairly close to the Haram but there is a short walk with an incline hill to be wary of. The hotel service was okay but they have to be asked repeatedly for toilet roll and they didn’t clean or change the used mugs, even though we made it clear that they needed washing. Overall however I would stay again.

We used the hotel last year it was great, we went back this year it went downhill, only 1 in the room, had to ask for slippers, breakfast very poor quality.

We did umrah and the service was amazing
