アルカサバ プレミアム ホステル(Alcazaba Premium Hotel)

Front desk staff was amazing- Breakfast staff was bad. Also, bathroom shower door fell on our 80-year old friend and broke all over the shower stall and made lacerations on our friend's arm and back. All maintenance staff did was say that the roller stuck, which caused the door to fall. Nobody tried to compensate our friend for anything, just excuses. Air conditioner was too slow to work... the room was very warm until early in the morning when it began to cool down.

Hotel fica localizado no calçadão, com vários bares e restaurantes a volta, não tem como chegar de carro, o estacionamento e do outro lado da avenida. No terraço do hotel funciona uma balada (lounge) que é aberto ao público, fazem fila na porta do hotel para entrar, segurança é zero, uma barulho infernal Apto não tem frigobar Pior de tudo é o café da manhã, ridículo, não é buffet, você precisa optar entre iogurte ou ovos, não tem frutas, as mesas são hiper desconfortável (mesa alta de bar) e o atendimento além de ser demorado é péssimo 👎 decepção total

We found the location in the pedestrian area very handy for exploring the city and the car park nearby was close enough to make transferring luggage okay. Room was comfortable but was just under the restaurant and some noise from them moving furniture at the end of the evening was heard but generally a very good stay!

Hotellet ligger fantastiskt beläget, rent & fräscht, bra service (bad tex om extra täcke och fick det inom 10 minuter). Mättande o god frukost med ljuvlig utsikt. Trevlig personal

Vi fikk et utrolig fint rom med fin utsikt til gaten på utsiden. Rommet ble rengjort daglig og vi fikk nye håndklær hver dag. Frokosten i restauranten falt alltid i smak og servicen var veldig bra. Eneste ulempen for noen kan være at man hører godt støy fra utsiden og man kan høre de som går opp og ned trappene om natten, men man kan ellers ikke høre noe fra takterrassen iløpet av natten.

This was the last night of our family trip to Malaga. Unless you want to use the rooftop bar and not get much sleep then I would probably avoid it. The Rooms were OK but it is ridiculously noisy. No good for a young family in my opinion.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It's on a lovely street, albeit noisy until the early hours; it's right by the amazing Alcazaba castle and Roman theatre; a 15 minute walk to the Playa La Marqueta beach; and walking distance to most of the key sites. The negatives: 1. No fridge in the room. I find this difficult to comprehend. It's baking hot in August but no fridge. It's difficult for adults let alone young children. I find it even more surprising that none of the reviews I've read make mention of this. 2. The breakfast is not buffet. The restaurant is called Batik and the hotel has an agreement with them for a limited breakfast. The staff there, while nice enough, have limited English. On each of our three days we were told different things about what was included. They only have one member of staff doing everything. The eggs and omlets were served some 15 minutes after the toast arrived. On our third day they said they ran out of eggs. 3. The walls and ceilings are pretty thin and we could hear people in other rooms. 4. The toilet seat was broken and the shower door was not aligned which meant a lot of water ended up on the floor. 5. We plan to go back to Malaga but I we will find a better, more family friendly hotel which has the basics required, such as a fridge.

This hotel was in a perfect location next to the Alcazaba and close to the Picasso Museum. It is also very walkable to the beach and port area which were a lot of fun. The hotel was inviting and clean and we enjoyed.

The hotel is centrally located and you can walk anywhere downtown the problem is they have a restaurant and bar on the top floor, and I don't care how many doors you install to isolate the rooms the noise until and after they close the bar, people are drunk and they are yelling and you cannot sleep
