Из трёх отелей, в которых я побывала за неделю на Крите, этот отель самый спокойный, может быть потому что он находится не рядом с центром и молодых людей немного. Номер хороший, но мне, однако, не повезло с расположением номера. Мой балкон находился прямо над лестницей. Я не могла спокойно поесть, поскольку люди постоянно выходили из своих номеров или заходили в них. Я ужила как-будто прямо в уличном кафе., вообщем, мне не хватило приватности, и из-за такого расположения номера я слышала всех кто пользовался лестницей. Думаю, те номера которые выходят на другую сторону, более тихие. Территория отеля прекрасна! В окружении гор, по которым мирно гуляют горные козлики. Интернет и кондиционер абсолютно бесплатны, в отличие от других отелей на Крите. Кстати, многие владельцы отелей на Крите не указывают информацию на сайтах бронирования отелей о платном кондиционере, сейфе и интернете. Здесь же все эти услуги бесплатны. Кровать и подушечки просто супер, за это отдельное спасибо администрации отеля. В кухне есть всё необходимое для приготовления пищи !!! Есть даже мочалка, моющее средство для посуды и кухонное полотенце, что является редкостью не только для Крита но и других районов Греции. За это тоже большое спасибо! Вообщем, отличный отель! Рекомендую людям, которые ищут тишины и уединения с природой!

Not too far away from shops and the old town so very ideal. Has a local shop that delivers heavy stuff you buy in there for free. It felt very homely and relaxing. Staff made the effort to make chat with all and were very accommodating - the kindest staff we’ve ever met in a hotel. Rooms were perfect, and had everything you need, also very clean. A very good price for the treatment we received - 3 course meals every night and a breakfast buffet. (We had half board). There was very little noise and felt calm.

Absolutely 💯 we can’t fault it, we arrived close on 9pm as we was staying half board the lovely manageress still made sure we had a three course meal cooked by the great chefs who served the most mouth watering meals throughout our 7 night stay…. I just wished I could take her home with us 🤣 As it was our 20th wedding anniversary we had complimentary bottle of champagne in our room, what a lovely surprise, The staff worked extremely hard and enjoyed many chats with the guests, having a laugh and making you feel homely and welcome, to say renaming my husband the English Cypriot 🤭 Honestly a memorable holiday, laid back, great views, excellent accommodation couldn’t ask for more! Looking forward returning!

This aparthotel is ideal for people seeking a quiet place to stay away from the busy resort of Malia. It is situated on a hillside with views of the distant sea. Our room provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the delicious home cooked 3 course evening meals and breakfast buffet. This family run hotel is in excellent condition with a lovely swimming pool and outdoor games area. The walk into Malia town takes about 20 minutes and we learnt to avoid the strenuous walk back up the hill by taking a back road with more gentle slopes. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and well looked after.

Absolutely amazing stay, we were a girl group of 3 and were made to feel so welcome and safe! Nothing was ever a bother and you could have a laugh with the staff and other guests here. The cleanliness was fab. Food was fresh and based on Greek dishes every night. Another bonus was that there is no sun-bed reserving and you were always able to find a sun-bed. Would definitely come back here again, 10/10.

We stayed as a group of 14 for 11 nights at Villa Mare Monte, which is about a 15-minute walk to the old town and set in the hills with beautiful views of both the mountains and the sea. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and informative, making us all feel at home. The one-bedroom accommodation was fantastic. My only small grumble would be that the studio was a little tight for three adults, though it didn’t impact our stay. The pool area was perfect, with no trouble ever getting a sunbed. Mandy, Veron, and Electra kept us supplied with drinks, delicious food, and plenty of laughs. Air conditioning is available at an extra charge. Some families chose to use it, but our room was fine without. The manager was always approachable and helpfully pointed us to a local supermarket that delivers groceries straight to your door—a bonus as I wouldn’t have fancied the uphill walk back with shopping bags! The hotel itself is spotless. The hardworking maids seemed to be busy all day, with towels changed every few days and beach towels also provided. We all had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Villa Mare Monte

Recently back from holiday as a group of 5 girls and had the best time. Stay in apartment room was very clean spacious and modern, overall very pleasant. The strip is about a 15 min walk down a hill, not very well lit but a taxi is about 10 euro on average. If you’re not the best walker a taxi is needed when coming back for the strip. Air conditioning is not included and was about 80 euro for our 7 days stay was very good and easy to use. Apartment was clean daily and new towel and bedding was changed once mid week. WiFi works in the rooms. Perfect place to go for your holiday, the staff were all so nice could always get a sun lounger at the pool, pool bar was affordable and served good food with excellent service. Would 10/10 recommend

We recently stayed at villa mare monte on a friends holiday and had the absolute most perfect time ! This hotel was absolutely stunning , which was a bonus to the friendly and welcoming staff. The staff here honestly made our stay 10/10 and we were so sad to leave them. This hotel is perfect for anyone , we went on a friend’s trip but there were families , couples and elderly people and everyone seemed happy the whole time. The food was divine , and as a vegetarian sometimes this is hard to accommodate in different areas of the world but they went above and beyond for me. Could not recommend this hotel enough !

We are currently staying at Villa Mare Monte, what a find. Beautiful location close to the Old town. The staff are so lovely nothing too much trouble , very friendly and accomodating . The rooms are spotless and bedding , towels etc are changed frequently. The pool area is beautiful and you can watch the goats on the mountain. I would say this is a gem of a find.
