Avia Residences on Lincoln - Extended Stay

Do not recommend. The facilities are old & poorly maintained. Service was friendly but poor: when i called to repair lock dangling by 1 screw the repair man came & put in 2 more screws (1 still missing) & left 4 on the floor. When our trash was not collected during our stay, i called & was told no one could collect it, just leave it outside. Buildings visibly decrepit: peeling paint, holes in wall, hanging trim, broken lock, rusty & cracked concrete stairs. Rooms seemed clean enough but silly string residue left on walls, fridge, door trim presumably from previous party. Kitchen faucet sputtered & smelled foul, then chlorinated smell - we bought water & threw out the berries we'd rinsed in nasty water. Fridge froze our food. Heat was extremely high in one bedroom, cold in the other. Light visible around external door/ cold came in. No one cleaned the room when we were out.

They do not provide proper breakfast! Frozen food to offer, with a microwave oven, 😀. In our bathroom there was no shampoo and body wash, and nobody check and refill. Very noisy fridge. I spent about $130 per night, but it's worth 60 at most.

This place could be a 5 star if they update the rooms. We had the two bedroom. It was very spacious and comfortable. The two separate bathrooms were awesome. My only complaint is that the room were old and outdated. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was decent. The bathroom were also decent. With an upgrade this place will be a 10/10. However, I would stay again and I will recommend.

I was very happy to have a fully stocked kitchen and two beds with two baths. That was perfect for our needs. Everything was functional and clean. The property could use a refresh on some of the suite furniture, but the beds were clean and comfortable, and shower was great. I thought it was an excellent value. I would definitely go again.

We didnt even stay due to the filthiness of the place. Bugs, heavily stained carpeting, disgusting kitchen, amd wornout furniture. Oh yes, and the linen has brown stuff on it. Didnt seem safer, either. Walked right out!

When we first arrived the original room was very disappointing but they very quickly got my family into a better room. The staff was very friendly.

We liked everything about our stay except for the lack of an elevator or ramp to the 2nd floor in the building we were in. We had luggage and it was difficult to get it up the stairs. That said we'd definitely stay there again but not on the 2nd floor.

The service at this hotel is outstanding. The front desk is run very efficiently and the staff is friendly and accommodating. We decided to bring our dog along for this trip and the fee was reasonable. They surprised us with a room upgrade, which was fantastic since we were visiting our daughter who attends college in the area and it gave her a little bit of space for herself, too. The room we had could use some renovation (possibly because we were in a pet-friendly room?), but it was very clean and very quiet. The area has plenty of restaurants, shops, etc. and was very convenient to major roads and highways. We didn't try the complimentary breakfast, so I can't give an opinion on that. We would definitely stay again.
