Lake River Side Hotel Spa

This Hotel is not 5 but just about 3 stars. So expect that and you'll be fine. Service is borderline horrible. If table next To you gets service at dinner, don't expect that you Will. I asked from restaurant manager how it works, he basically told me to get drinks myself and stop asking from him... Reception was exellent when we arrived, but it was at night and I never saw that guy again, instead there were 2 ladies Who spoke russian and very little english. Beds are so horrible you need chiropraktik after your holiday. I asked softer pillow on first day and again next day, was told would get it but never did, floor cleaner sayed they don't have any other pillow so Reception basically lied To me. Minibar was newer filled. So No water if you don't remember To every day take it from pool. Room was kept clean'ish but towels were not replaced at all and pidgeon poo stayed on the balcony. Pool is always crowded and music is so loud that this is not for you if you need peace. Beach is dirty. I picked up large sharp plastic and other trash after I looked at it for 2 days and waited if maybe staff would do it. Shuttle To beach is so broken it needs loud music To cover the nouse it makes.

We wouldn’t come again unless some things change , the most awful experience for us where that the room key dropt out multiple times and we could not enter our room (7 times) , and with the room that was the most far away from the reception this wasn’t a lot of fun , also the second worst thing I had in a hotel was the checkout , when you have kids , don’t come here , we have to check out at 12.00 but with a young baby that couldn’t sleep before 23.00 because our room was right next to the show area that lasted until 22.45 every evening keeping the baby awake , he was really tired and crying all the time , until the bus came to pick us up in the evening without giving him the possibility to have some sleep somewhere , awful experience , they didn’t even offered us a place for the baby to sleep some during the day and last but not least , lots of trouble making guest , with fighting and screaming

Very good energy and fun with animation team - positive start of the day :) thank you! On the other front the hotel is away from everything while they offer shuttle service and the bus access to the beach. The food is good quality and made fresh. Really love the French fries.

I want to add a comment about the Animation Team. Very nice people, very energetic and enthusiastic about what they do. I was especially amazed by the quality of one of the girls from the team. Her fitness was a magnet to all eyes around swimming pool. I was too shy to join the yoga (or pilates) classes conducted close to the swimming pool but was very tempted to join. Great views.

We have arrived at 7am knowing that we will have to wait to check in until 12 max, which was okay but they also told us that there is a high chance we will get our room earlier, however what happened after… check with the receptionist at 10am if we can maybe check in earlier, she said unfortunately no please try in an hour, so while we were waiting, a family who arrived at the same time from the same travel agency got their room, so I went again and ask if it’s possible to check in, the receptions laugh at my face and said ‘no’ and that we will have to wait until 2pm to get the room. They took our luggage so we didn’t have access to any of our belongings, they never even asked us if we need anything, they just basically told us to wait… Been travelling for quite a time and never came across such a rude and unfriendly receptionist. Felt a bit discriminated for being polish, no respect for the other person whatsoever. On top of that the place is dirty and didn’t even got a decent room. First day of the holiday and you have to spend it just waiting and worrying with no information.

Genuinely a really nice holiday we were very looked after by Helin from animation always a massive smile.. Ali is always super helpful by the pool and we had a fun family evening have our pictures done with the parrot.. rooms are clean and comfy. Pool was fantastic great size and temperature x we would visit again.

Hotel so good we like it so much i will come this hotel next year and with my family animation was so good food is tasty all stuff is good to us we love it. Is you come thi hotel you will enjoy it. Im russian but make this comment in english for everyone…

Needed a get away from London’s rubbish weather and booked this hotel. Enjoyed every second of it, their staff from the bar, restaurant and entertainment are amazing. Food was great, a massive variety of options to choose from! A special thank you to Helin & Salman from entertainment for making us feel so welcomed! & Serhat from the bar for great cocktails! Thank you all so much, will definitely be coming back! :)
