On arrival I did not realise that there would be so many stairs. That made things harder for me as I suffer with a bad knee, but the friendly personnel offered to help with my luggage. At this point I was told that I was not allowed a pet. On the Trip-it website it clearly states pet-friendly as well as in my confirmation email. The manager told me this could not be the case as they changed their policy concerning pets. I felt I was not being believed and fortunately had my confirmation email stating clearly “pets-allowed”. Do an exception was made! How that exception word irritates me, as It still makes me feel as if I did something wrong! I have an extremely well travelled cat with me in his bag and his proper no smell, no messes toilet comes with me as well as his scratch pole and gods bowls that gets put onto a plastic table mat. He sleeps on his own blanket and when I leave a room where we have stayed, that room is left in immaculate state. I even have a hand vacuum cleaner with me to make sure nothing is left out of order.
Apart from these two things I found the personal in general all very kind, helpful, friendly and willing to sort out any problem.
