ミューア ウッズ ロッジ(Muir Woods Lodge)

This was the fourth time I stayed here in 2 weeks and the room I got was barely ok. I arrived around 9 and got checked in quickly. I got everything unloaded and tried turning on the tv to find out it wasn’t working. I called the front desk and they said it was too late to do anything. It was late and I had work in the morning so it wasn’t that big of a deal. I got up early in the morning to shower and found that there was mold growing near the floor where the shower met the wall.

For the price it’s just fine but no soap? I’m too lazy to get some but it sure would be nice! Right? Right! I came to Marin to see a friend so it’s fine and super convenient for Mill Valley. Last night I stayed at Acqua and that was great but much more $ I will definitely come here again because of the inexperience price. The people who work here are very friendly and it’s a pleasure talking with them. They sped up the cleaning for my check in which was great. I’m on the first floor so you hear everything from above. I recommend asking for a room on the second floor as it’s more quiet. I’m perfectly satisfied and I go to a lot of motels. I recommend it for a short stay. No frills but Yayyy it’s in Marin County.

Room needed maintenance as the toilet wobbled.There was no coffee maker although coffee was provided.

Cute hotel overall, we enjoyed our stay. Wash machine and dryer were outside, $4 to use each machine which I thought was steep. Property overall was dirty, overflowing garbage cans. A bit difficult to get in and out of the parking lot due to the very busy road it’s on. Vegetation could be cut back to make it easier and safer to get out of the lot. Noisy traffic at night being so close to the road.

Check in was the fastest I have ever seen at a hotel. Unfortunately the checked me into a room that was never cleaned.

I have never left a review on a hotel before. I have read the positive reviews of this motel (that's what it is), but it's the the negative reviews which are accurate. My first room had a neighbor blasting hip hop music, while he yelled and cursed over the top. I called the front desk three times to ask them to call the guest. I finally went down to the desk and was told by a seemingly irritated woman at the front desk that she didn't hear music outside of his room (it was vibrating my wall) so she would move me to another room. I had initially requested a room on the backside of the hotel to avoid the freeway noise. My new room was on the front side. Incredibly loud, even with ear plugs. The towels and comforter had holes. There was hair in the bathtub and towels. The shower faucet was hanging off, so it was difficult to adjust the water temperature. The sink was in the main room and took a very long time to drain. I'm baffled by the positive reviews as this was the worst hotel experience I've had in many years.

For one, the bthroom was dirty and toilet did not flush. Fridge did not open. No cable, no microwave, no breakfast. Sham ad.

Helpful with TV not working. Couldnt find staff in AM to checkout. Nice coffee machine in lobby

The price and location were perfect, while an older building design it looks like they just refreshed everything, new fixtures, tv, linens, tile, floors, etc. Heater kept the room warm, plenty of hot water. Only downside is that you might have to wait or be aggressive when turning into the hotel lot when traffic is busy. An opening always comes up within a minute, but you must turn left without a light from a middle turn lane.
