Avoid - customer service is non existent most of the stay and when it does exist it is a 1/10. We stayed in a junior suite and booked breakfast and dinner through ebookers. When it came to dinner we asked what we could choose from on the menu and was told we had to pay for dinner. I showed on my booking that it included breakfast and dinner but they would not accept it. I showed 3/4 different people that worked there. I asked for the manager, waited over an hour in the lobby area from 7pm to 8pm but he did not come. We then ordered a simple dinner of just a main course and one drink each. When we checked out they refused to let us leave. They would not allow us out the building to the taxi without paying for the dinner and a heavy service fee on top. They said English people are rich, that they are poor, that the manager will take it out of their salaries if I did not pay. There’s were four men standing over me and it was incredibly intimidating. I was crying and eventually said I would pay the bill minis for service charge (the food took a very long time to come and we had to go to the bar for the drinks ourselves). They would not accept this. The taxi driver would not take us to the airport and we almost missed our flight. I would never ever stay here again or recommended to anyone else. The customer service is awful - the man behind the desk is incredibly rude.

This is not a reflection of the staff as they were very nice and helpful. I will explain why the 3. The hotel is beautiful. The first night we had diner which was really nice , the beef tangine was to die for, but there was no music and only one staff working. So we had to wait a bit for the diner. And you felt like you had to whisper as the couple (only one couple) could hear everything you saying. The room was big and beautiful. In the bathroom though, there was a window with no curtain which made you a bit self concious as anybody could see in. The real disappointment was the spa, we booked this specific hotel because of it, to be told they have closed it down and we could have hammam massage but in the city. We decided to leave a day early and checked into a Riad.

They looked after really welll and the food was amazing . Also I must mention the poolside sheesha is was amazing .

Excellent hotel! The location is brilliant if you want a calm area to sleep in. It is right at the end of a row of luxurious villas. The pool is open all night which meant we could have a late night swim. Felt like we rented out the whole villa to ourselves as it is that exclusive. Our suite had a patio that went right out to the pool giving us an amazing view. The staff were excellent at every stage of our stay. There is free private parking too and not far from the city centre at all. Definitely would recommend and from now on when I go back to Marrakech this is the only hotel I will be using!

The property was on no where, poor internet signal. The air condition was off since the property didn't have customers.

It was peasant and beautiful. I live the environment and the people there were friendly and supportive.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Ishmael and the staff were extremely attentive and patient when attending to my family’s need. The villa is just outside the Marrakesh but is still accessible to the city. It’s really secure and the rooms are airy, spacious and cleaned daily.

Everything about The Bird was fantastic for us - private, clean, friendly staff, etc. We visited Marrakech in a party of 50+ with some of us staying at The Bird. More than 10 others said they would have loved to stay at The Bird. The only downside for us were the pets. Without the pets, everything would have been 100% and we would have planned to stay at The Bird again. We loved Marrakech and would visit again.
