All I can say is WOW!! If you are browsing riads in Marrakech, then browse no more. This one will not disappoint. We arrived back home yesterday after 3 nights at this beautiful riad. The riad is a little bit of luxury nestled on the outskirts of the souks. It's a great location and me and my partner walked 20 miles over 2 days, taking in the sights of the medina. It's so accessible to many attractions the city has to offer. We landed late in the evening around 9.30pm, me and my partner were apprehensive about travelling into a place we knew nothing about. The hosts at the riad took care of transfers before we arrived, and I must say we were greeted by the most informative driver who gave us so much information on arrival. Arriving at the medina, we were met by staff who guided us directly to the riad. I can't emphasise how safe we felt. We were led to a large wooden door and greeted by the hosts to what can only be described as a place of tranquil and luxury. We were served mint tea and biscuits on arrival and welcomed into the riad. We stayed in room number 7, which was absolutely gorgeous and so big, we literally couldn't believe the while suite and terrace was ours for the next 3 nights. The room was extremely clean and well equipped with beautiful soaps, body washes and refreshments (bottled water & a fruit basket). We were advised that we could have our breakfast anywhere in the riad we liked. The towels were fluffy, the large bed was extremely comfortable, and included a hairdryer and bathrobes. We chose two have breakfast for two days downstairs in a lovely room equipped with beautiful drapes, artwork and an open fire. Breakfast was served by the most wonderful accommodating staff. The breakfast consisted of a choice of varying teas and coffee, fruit and yogurt (which was so tasty) followed by eggs of your choice and multiple breads. Both me and my husband could not finish the food provided due to there being so much. My husband informed me that the selection of jams and honey were also very lovely. Me and my husband are both very well travelled and like to set off on foot ourselves to explore and this was facilities by information & maps provided by the hosts. I can't emphasise how helpful the staff are, they literally can not do enough for you. We were offered the opportunity to book excursions and also asked if we needed a guide but we politely declined as we are very happy to go off by ourselves with the use of Google maps (which worked perfectly). We visited several museums that Marrakech had to offer, aswell as made our way through the souks down to the square with ease. We had two evening meals during our stay, which were booked via very helpful hosts. A must do is Le trou au mur which is owned by the riad across the cobbled path from the riad. The food was divine and such a vast selection. I eat out a lot and I must say the food in this resteraunt is the most delicious I have ever eaten. They had such a great selection
