very authentic and friendly hotel

Die dusche im Standardzimmer ist sowas von klein. Mein Kreuz geht da nicht durch, ab 1,90 ist Schluss, da ist die Brause am Eingang. durften deswegen gratis wechseln, da Offsaison. Tolles Frühstück mit viel leckerem Süsskram

We found this to be an exceptionally pleasant hotel, in all respects. It is situated in a quiet corner with n a piazza in the historic center of Marsala, a beautiful, old building elevated with great taste to create a warm and welcoming a**osphere. The rooms are cozy; the bathrooms are clean; the beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast room and bar are elegant and the food at the breakfast buffet was fresh, varied and ample. Thank you Hotel Carmine!

I wish I could have learned more about the history of Hotel Carmine. It is in an incredible location and would have been nice to know more about it. Some of the staff was so friendly. Some came off as unfriendly. Breakfast was nice but wish there’d been cheese.

You can’t judge a book by its cover. Beautiful outside. Nice photos on web MAJOR disappoin**ent. Bar closed. Lounge area closed. Shows is SO SMALL. I weigh 120lbs. Could not move in the shower. Literally NO WHERE to put soap. (You must bring your own). For what you pay, this is an awful choice. Beds are rock hard. Pillows are rich hard. Cannot lock doors to a SHARED balcony (shared by four rooms). Wind blew the door open in the middle of the night. Breakfast was nice. Supposed to be included in the price. But some in our party had to pay for theirs. Cannot park in the area by the hotel. Gotta find a place. No where to pay for it, but we did not have an issue there at least. Small plain rooms.

We needed a place to relax after several days of busy travel. Hotel Carmine was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. We felt very at peace here and the surrounding area was calm and quiet. But we were very close to everything in the Marsala center by foot, so we were able to enjoy walking around the area as well.

The Carmine is an outstanding example of a properly renovated historic hotel. It was once a monastery and it is beautifully restored. The linens are top grade, the bar is first class and the staff are friendly and helpful. We had a good sized room for Italian standards. The hotel is located in a historic area full of restaurants and shops yet in a quiet corner that provides you with a good night’s sleep.

Stayed 3 nights. Very well reconverted convent into a hotel, very nice design. Walking distance to everywhere in town. Comfortable and clean room. They tend to do the rooms late in the day though. Good breakfast in an inside room. The bar has an outside space in the old cloisters. A**ospheric common spaces.
