グラン オテル ドゥ パルク(Grand Hôtel du Parc)

We had not booked a room and were pleased that the hotel was able to accommodate us at short notice. Our room was large with a good sized bathroom and very comfortable. We were disappointed that we were unable to dine at the restaurant - I had assumed that tables would be available for hotel guests. We had had a long day and did not want to have to find somewhere else, and the hotel was unable to offer any alternative eating places. We eventually found another resaurant and had one of the best meals of our holiday. I would rfecommend booking ahead if you wnat to stay & eat at this hotel. Breakfast was buffet style and plentiful. Florac is a beautiful village and I'd love to return to explore more.

We spent one night in Florac at the start of a road trip in the South of France. Whilst research told us there was a restaurant in the hotel, when we arrived it was closed. We walked into the town for dinner and had a stroll around. We were given a very large but strangely configured room which was very quiet and comfortable. Hotel served a standard breakfast in the dining room. Good value for money.

This property is tired and dated and while they've tried to spruce it up a bit, the mould in the bathroom should not be there and the towels are old and threadbare. The sound insulation between rooms was terrible. We will not stay here again.

The hotel is old, seems like it stayed on from the 80s, except for the shower. Just the shows, not the rest of the bathroom. Service was adequate and the hotel was clean and well taken care of. We stayed for two nights with a group and also had our meals and a very good and abundant picnic bag for one day trip. I recommend it for what it is: a local hotel that serves it purpose with. certain dignity and efficiency.

The restaurant was closed. Breakfast was pover. Reception desk was most of the time closed. There was no information available about Florac or the Cevennes.

Old

Mais c'est à peu près tout. La première impression est très positive avec cette arrivée dans ce parc et ce grand escalier. Et puis cette odeur de fioul des qu'on le grimpe et qui ne nous quittera plus. C'est vieillot et on s'attend au pire en arrivant à la chambre. Et ben non, elle est rénovée et plutôt spacieuse. Tentons notre chance dans la salle de bain.... et la c'est la cata. On a pourtant des serviettes logotees de qualité mais cela mériterait un coup de fraîcheur. Les toilettes sont dans un petit coin et on se cogne les genoux quand on fait notre affaire. La taille de le tv est ridicule. On entend les voisins des qu'ils voient ou tirent de l'eau.... Au restaurant, de belles nappes, serviettes et vaisselle de qualité. Le service est bon, rapide et on mange bien. C'est simple, mais bien réalisé. Avis mitigé donc; je ne pense pas y revenir.

Chambre indigne d'un trois étoiles, pas insonorisé, la fenêtre ne ferme pas, il faut se mettre de profil pour accéder au lit...Salle de bain sommaire. Nous étions dans l'ancien batiment qui a mal vieilli... Seul point positif le buffet déjeuner très correct.

2h30 d’attente pour un repas somme toute quelconque…. Décevant Serveuse ne connaissant rien. Et mal aimable . Plats non servis au même moment à tout les convives … Bof bof bof Cuisine correct mais rien d’extraordinaire. Désolé deles avoir dérangé.
