Wonderful hotel which exceeds expectations. Excellent facilities,food,staff and a thoroughly delightful place to stay. You’d struggle to talk to a guest who hasn’t stayed at the hotel before. Our 3rd visit and we look forward to our 4th!

Great place to relax but you need to be up early to bag your preferred lounger. We went half-board which was worth it. Stayed in room 127 which was on the ground floor. May go for a terraced one next time. Wine was typically 40 to 60 euros a bottle but it went up to 850 euros. For lunch we went for a "generous" glass of Vina Sol at 10 euros although I think if you need to consider what you are spending it may not be the place to come - we soon got over that :-) Not a place to bring children but if you are retired and comfortably off a fantastic place to chill out. Service was faultless.

The Grand Hotel Residencia, part of the Seaside Collection, is the most civilised, serene and comfortable place to stay on Gran Canaria. Being able to have a high chance of 20+ degrees Celsius only 4 hours flight from Heathrow in December is a powerful draw, but knowing that you will receive exceptional service from a team most of whom have worked at the Grand Hotel for very many years, is what makes the difference. Add to that two heated pools, excellent food, quiet atmosphere and great location - very near to the sea in Meloneras (the best part of Maspalomas), it’s unsurprising we’ve stayed a number of times. If you want to be left in peace to relax, this is hard to beat anywhere and can’t be beaten on this warm and friendly island.

Lived up to its 5 stars rating on Tripadvisor. Fantastic team here provided excellent service . Seem very well trained in meeting customer needs. Front desk reception have great restaurant recommendations and they are all of the highest quality. The food in the hotel is also very good - breakfast is a superb buffet. The twice weekly barbecue is outstanding- beautifully presented food . Only disappointment is the ludicrous land grab by certain individuals who reserve their poolside beds at sunrise.

The Grand Hotel Residencia is beautiful. The bedrooms are comfortable. The food is delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My parents and I have had many memorable holidays at this wonderful hotel. My parents and I are looking forward to staying at this fantastic hotel again in the near future. We are currently on our holiday and planning the next - a paradise. We are in room 203 which is a standard but excellent for our needs. Large balcony and all the facilities you can expect including a Nespresso machine. We have stayed over the years in a few of the top hotels in the area. This has them all beat. The staff are excellent (shout-out to hard working Hector down by the pool!) and nothing is too much trouble. The attention to deal is clear throughout. The hotel itself is spotless and every little thing has been considered. Too many good things to cover but some highlights: * The half board menu is amazing - excellent range of options. * There is a BBQ twice a week but calling it BBQ does not do it justice - I had an amazing prawns in pernod earlier in the week that was excellent. It is useful to note that this is not a party hotel in any way but a place of peace and quiet for guests who want things to be just so.

Perfect service and perfect facilities. Beautiful classic decor. Excellent food (1 sol in the Repsol guide). Nicely quiet. Well heated pools. Many returning guests (me included). Not directly at the beach, but only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the beach and the dunes.

This hotel is a haven of tranquility and high standards. It is situated within a five minute walk of the beach where to the west you have a promenade and to the east miles of sand dunes. The pool is heated and although large is for cooling off rather than for swimming. The breakfast and dinner menus are extensive and of very high quality - it is a shame that the wine list is so focused on island and Spanish wine whose quality and lack of variety does not match the rest of the hotel. The Spa has an excellent sauna and other pools. The gym consists of some equipment in a corridor. Overall all the staff are very friendly and helpful - a thoroughly recommended venue.

First class service and facility. Dining excellent with unlimited choice. Pools well kept with clean surroundings. Would visit again to enjoy a relaxing experience. Fully recommend this hotel, a quiet gem in masapalomas. Transportation can be arranged for airport collection and departure.
