マタラ ベイ ホテル(Matala Bay Hotel & Apartments)

The appartments are way off from the hotel. Maybee 1-2 Miles.. why par for the Beach accessability when u need to drive there? The appartment has only one bathroom, not 2. No wahing mashine. No pool. No externa lights. No reading lamps in bedroom. The paint is peeling off, poor build quility and dangerous appliances.

2 nights in matala in this hotel. Nice swimming pool. Large balcony on family room on top floor.

I was left a little disappointed, our bed was really hard and you could feel the springs, our air-conditioning wasn't cold, when reported to the owners of the hotel, they were less than friendly. The pool was really good and the breakfast was excellent, the outdoor barman was so friendly, and breakfast staff were as well. Would I stay again, no.

Location of the hotel was good and it had a pool which was useful on windy days and unusual for the area. The food at breakfast was very repetitive, however it was nice to have fresh yogurt and honey. At dinner, no soft drinks or water were provided which is the first time we’ve ever encountered this on a half board package. If we wanted water, we had to buy a 500 ml bottled water for 1€ which was 25 cents in local stores. The room was a nice and beds were made everyday, although linen and towels could have been changed more often. Not all staff were friendly and made us feel uncomfortable at times.

Very nice located hotel. Nice and friendly staff at the restaurant and very welcoming reception. We were upgraded . Breakfast was delicious with many choices & dinner as well. Matala is a place that we love to be. Thank you for the nice stay , we will come again.

We had a wonderful time staying 5 nights in the villa owned by the hotel and then 2 nights in the hotel itself. All the staff were friendly the hotel and villa were clean and the food at the hotel including breakfast and evening meal was absolutely wonderful. Really fresh home cooked authentic Greek food with lots of fruit, salad and vegetables.

The room was basic and a little dated, although the bathroom had been upgraded and was very nice. I was disappointed there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Pool and restaurant were both lovely. Breakfast choices were excellent and varied. All in all a great stay.

Very good breakfast. Welcoming host Yannis. Very good location. Red beach and Kommos beach not far. On a lazy day local beach is only 5 minutes walk away which is full of different bars, restaurants, tavernas. Even on a lazier day hotel is equipped with swimming pool which is a lovely place to relax. Very good quality free wifi compared to the places we stayed in the past. Overall, excellent value for money.

We booked and were accommodated in the Matala Bay Annex Building Rental Rooms, which is located right across from the Matala Bay Hotel. A very good breakfast and dinner were served in the main building and we could use all the facilities of the hotel. Free parking. Very nice pool. The rooms are clean, have a refrigerator, air conditioning, a balcony and in some rooms a small kitchen. the furniture is a little older, but well maintained. I recommend the Annex Building, which is a little cheaper, and a the Hotel to, which is nicely renovated and has a modern look.
