We stayed only one night in this amazing hotel thats sits above a paradise beach. Nice room with bathtube, quiet and great view over the ocean from the restarant.

Booked a long stay here as a treat for a rubbish year and my birthday. Room minute, balcony minute, open-plan bathroom, which is also open to the elements, so having a shower in a torrential downpour is "challenging"! The rooms, bathrooms and public areas are all very dark, too, meaning to be able to see anything you need to switch on a light. This seems to contradict the eco ethos. Ayurveda so far very good and the Ayurveda area is by far the most pleasant and cleanest I have encountered in Sri Lanka. Staff are friendly and willing, but do not necessarily understand English to a high degree, which makes things a little complicated. There are only 2 usable electric sockets, one in the bathroom area, one in the bedroom, which I find totally unacceptable, even though I brought an extension lead with 3 sockets with me. Wifi is very good for Sri Lanka. Food is ok, but there is no choice and far too much, which is causing me issues. It is difficult to make people understand that I do not want 3 meals a day consisting of 3 courses - or 4 in the evening. I find it especially problematic that all this food is presented when the ayurvedic treatment involves daily laxitives! All rooms are situated in various houses with no direct access to the main reception area, Ayurveda Spa or restaurant. Umbrellas are provided and required! At the moment I get the impression that I have shelled out a lot of money for something mediocre and cannot decide whether to shell out more and leave or stick it out - hence why this review is Part 1.

We stayed for th three days and we wish we had stayed longer. This is a lovely resort style hotel on the beach, private swimming pools, and excellent restaurant and high quality ayeravedic spa and treatments. The rooms were spacious, the fittings fun and charming. Lots of coll additional service such as an inhouse tailor, free yoga and mediation lessons, and afternoon tea. he private hotel beach is clean and well guarded. The staff were excellent and we enjoyed everything about this stay. T

A truly wonderful retreat, with wonderful views, it’s own private beach. Rooms were nice and clean with bath and shower, outside shower, small pool, balcony. Sounds of the birds and monkeys outside. Spa facilities looked clean, but not modern and make sure you book early to avoid disappointment. Friendly staff.

I love to stay on this hotels with my husband..all the staff are woderfull and very friendly. Especially for Chalani from front officr help us for anything..thank you so much UTMT for the great experience during us stay in srilanka..definitely ill be back to stay.

Design of rooms, SPA and pool is stylish and tasteful, but - above all - the friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff must be mentioned; they made our stay unforgettable: Sachi from restaurant, Chalani from reception, the Chef with the wonderful Ayurvedic dishes & the SPA team

Lieber Herr Hollmann & Team, Ich durfte Ende Jänner Anfang Februar drei Wochen in ihrem wunderbaren Hotel verbringen. Ich möchte ihnen meine aufrichtige Anerkennung aussprechen, für das, was sie hier geschaffen haben !die Bilder auf ihre Website und im Internet werden dem tatsächlichen Erleben beim besten Willen nicht gerecht. Weil eben die Atmosphäre ,die Liebenswürdigkeit, der Charakter ihres Hauses nicht sichtbar sind. Mit welcher Liebenswürdigkeit und Herzlichkeit dieses Haus geführt wird ist außergewöhnlich. Abgesehen von der wunderbaren Anlage, das kleine Haus am Felsen mit dem traumhaften Ausblick bei jedem Essen auf den Indischen Ozean, der schöne Strand die angenehme Architektur und vor allem die vielen wunderbaren Details und Extras. Aber am allermeisten beeindrucken all die wunderbaren und so liebenswerten Menschen. Ihr ehrliches und herzliches Strahlen. Die hohe Qualität der Anwendungen die Perfektion und die authentische Einrichtung. Kein unnötiges zu viel .und stets die hohe Qualität Das Essen war jeden Tag wieder ein Genuss. Man fühlt sich umsorgt von früh bis spät und man kann es oft nicht glauben dass wirklich an alles gedacht wird : die Früchte am Nachmittag das perfekte richtige Moskitonetz die Teekannen für das heiße Wasser die vielen Blumen überall .ganz außergewöhnlich ist der Yoga +Meditation Pavillon. Ein ganz wunderbarer Ort. Vielen herzlichen Dank für all das an Sie & ihr bezauberndes und so professionelles Team. PS: es wäre schön, wenn sie die Atmosphäre auf den Bildern einfangen könnten

Ein wirklich tolles Hotel mit sehr guten Ayurvedischen Anwendungen. Sehr nettes Personal und eine Top gepflegte Anlage. Einziger Minuspunkt die Preise im Restaurant für zum Beispiel Cocktails ohne Alkohol wurden wohl mit denen eines Österreichischen Top Skiortes verwechselt. Einen Wassermelonen Cocktail mit etwas Minze für 9€ trinke ich erst wieder wenn hier Loipen gespurt sind😱 Die Zimmer sind geräumig und werden gründlich gereinigt, die Betten sind bequem und die Bettwäsche wird was nicht überall Standart ist häufig gewechselt. Einzig die Liegen am sehr schönen Pool könnten dickere Auflagen vertragen da sie nicht sehr Rückenfreundlich sind.Abschließend kann ich nur eine Empfehlung für dieses Resort geben.

Gut geführtes, sehr schön angelegtes Hotel mit wahnsinnig bemühten und äußerst freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Die Kur hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen und bereits nach 10 Tagen fühlte ich mich wie neu geboren und immer gut aufgehoben (sehr individuell). Therapeuten sehr gut! Großen Dank an ‚Aushilfs-Direktorin‘ Tamara aus dem Wiener Haus, die den ganzen Aufenthalt noch abgerundet hat. Sehr zu empfehlen der Kochkurs mit Chefkoch Dilan. Rezepte für zu Hause können so authentisch nachgekocht werden. Essen insgesamt 1A (auch die Kur-Kost!) Restaurantleiter ein Mensch der Sonderklasse! Alle Kellner sehr bemüht. Zimmermädchen schnell und fleißig. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen. Die Zimmerwahl sollte gut überlegt sein. Hier lohnt es sich etwas tiefer in die Tasche zu greifen und vorne am Meer in einer der Villen zu wohnen. Yoga und Meditation empfehlenswert. Ich komme definitiv wieder. Einmal UTMT, immer UTMT!
