The hotel is located slightly outside Matsumoto city center, making it a better choice for travelers with a car rather than those relying on public transportation. One of its advantages is the large parking area, which is very convenient and easy to access.
The room was clean but felt somewhat dated, with furnishings that could benefit from renovation. The biggest downside was the pillow provided in the room—it was very small and extremely thin, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Fortunately, on my second night I discovered that extra pillows were available at the self-service amenities area on the first floor, which greatly improved my stay.
Another challenge was that the front desk staff had limited English communication skills, so the check-in process took a little longer than expected.
