Our Holiday was just amazing, the Hotel is just Wow. We e joy a lot me my wife and the boys, food was very nice for breakfast varieties of foods, big thanks to the kitchen staff Great jobs, special thanks to Madame Etiennette and Mr Beichoo, from Reception. Great service from them. Swimming pools great my boys enjoy a lot, especially the jacuzzi. Rooms superb 👌 👏 very clean and decoration and the setup itself with the room are just excellent. Hats off. Petit hôtel familial à flic en flac, Personnel adorable, petit déjeuner correct,très bon rapport qualité prix. Seul bémol, nous avions fait la demande d’avoir une chambre rénovée et on nous a donné la seule qui ne l était pas malgré le fait que nous restions 10 jours et que les chambres rénovées étaient attribué à des séjours plus courts

Très belle résidence située à environ 30mn a pied de la plage de Flic en Flac ainsi que des commerces et restaurants ou pour les moins téméraires seulement 5mn en navette gratuite proposée par la résidence tout au long de la journée. Le calme fait parti du charme de cette résidence du moins pendant notre séjour, le personnel est attentionné, à l'écoute et Étiennette est toujours disponible pour répondre aux attentes de ses hôtes. Deux piscines sont disponibles, ainsi que des services de bars et un Spa. Un centre commercial avec restaurants et boutiques et aussi accessible gratuitement en navette depuis la résidence a seulement 5mn... Le petit déjeuner est copieux mais il mériterait d'être un peu plus varié dans la semaine surtout lors de longs séjours. Notre chambre (vue mer) était fonctionnelle mais un peu petite avec nos grandes valises a caser. Des rangements supplémentaires dans la salle de bain seraient bienvenus. Pour conclure, une belle découverte pour notre deuxième séjour à Maurice loin des hôtels touristiques en bord de plage, avec un tarif nettement plus avantageux pour ceux qui ne cherchent pas le bling bling sur ce joyau de l'Océan Indien.

The pool area was clean but small. There were 4 sun loungers 3 hard plastic ones with no padding and one broken bed. The room was adequate but the bathroom was tiny and it was cleaned every day. We had no view or balcony. Breakfast was average at best. The small variety of hot food was cold. The choice of fruit was very poor. In our opinion the reception staff were very rude at times and would also ignore you. However, the maids were extremely helpful.

Good stay at this boutique hotel. It is located 15-20min walk from the Flic-en-Flac beach but there is a shuttle which is convenient. Personnel is kind and helpful. There was no hot water the first day. Breakfast options could be improved as well as the mattress which was so hard.

L’hôtel est assez loin à pied de tout, plage, restaurants, supérette,…ceci étant il existe une navette et cela a l’avantage d’être étonnement très calme. Certaines chambres donnent une vue très agréable sur la mer. Les installations ne sont pas de prime jeunesse. Le personnel est très sympathique et aux petits soins.

My wife and I stayed at the L'oiseau for 6 weeks this year, we really enjoyed the place. The staff are great, the bed was very comfortable, the room was large enough for the two of us, there's breakfast included and a free shuttle service to the beach and shopping mall. They provide airport transfers for about 2000 rupees, which is a good price. The kitchen could have been a little better equipped and the refridgerators in some of the rooms need replacing, but this is a budget apartment hotel, not the Ritz. The rooms are currently being refurbished so these problems should hopefully soon be sorted. They currently charge 500 rupees for washing clothes, which is a bit on the expensive side unless you have a large load. It would be great if they could put a washing line on the roof for guests to use and a coin operated washing machine. We would definitely stay there again.
