Beautifull location located on the bank of the mahaweli river. Well maintained garden. Freindly staff. Delicious foods with variety. 17 km s from kandy city and took 30 minutes to reach there worth travaling. Highly recommended definitely will be back.

Most irresponsible people work here. We booked a cabana and just after checked in, they said they made a mistake and they already had an appointment and ask us to go somewhere else. We thought it might be an honest mistake, and also they promised us that they would find a place and we chose a one of the places they recommended. So we didn’t not get stressed and enjoyed the vacation and traveled through the kandy. Later that day, they said they couldn’t give us that room and recommended another hotel which was not worth at all. We had to find another place at night in the last minute. Whole vacation was ruined due to that experience. Please don’t risk your peaceful vacation because of these irresponsible people. But I must say their food is top notch.

We had messy experience here. Booked here for 2 nights .but we checkout within an hours due to bad room experience. Hair on sink. Bad smell from wash room. Bed was messy. Bed sheet with several stains. I dont know why they treated us like that. Floor is not cleaned and curtains are very ugly and untidy. Gekhos everywhere.bad smell inside room. Food is somewhat good. No locks for the rooms from out side.

The only good thing about this place is the view. The rest, oh god! Not hygienic at all. Bed linen really not up to standard. There were spots everywhere! I had to put a towel on it and use it. We planned to stay here for 2 nights but we spent just one night since it was too late to book another hotel at that time. My husband urged me to simply wait till morning so he can take me away from this terrible place. The receptionist was not friendly at all. We checked all the comments before booking and I don’t know how a sane person could ever stayed there say it was wonderful! Do not recommend if you are hygiene conscious. The road is also too narrow. Our jeep barley made it to the place. We had to fold the side mirrors. When later checked the vehicle body had scratches from trimmed twigs and branches along the narrow path. The rooms has no locks and the phones do not work after 6pm . The washroom is smelly ! I do not know about foreigners they brag so much about but I as a Sri Lankan would not recommend that place to anybody sane!

Worst experience ever in my life. First of all I am a hotelier and i usually travel often specially out of colombo. I booked this on BB then the lady who was in front recommended HB then I upgraded it to HB. I went with my small daughter and my family. Number 1 google location is absolutely incorrect and we just informed as its good for them to update very friendly manner but the front office lady just said things as she taken us for a joke saying ah suddo nan kelinma location ekata enawa (foreigners comes so easily even without asking) but when i checked on google reviews also people has mentioned location which shows in google incorrect. So thats fine cuz we dont care as this is not my business. 2. So as we went with small baby 2 year old we wanted dinner early. Then front office lady said (why i am not using receptionist word she nver can be a that position with her attitude) So she said ok for the dinner order one of there staff will come at 5pm and get your order as it was not buffet. At the initially she said its 5 course meal. But when they came to get the order it been 5 - 4 thats also we kept quite. So we were waiting and no one came even at 6pm. then i called ask as i know when it gets delay my child wont able to eat. So then finally6.30pm they came and took the order.only he mentioned soup main course and dessert. Then i asked appetizer then he said ah yes we can give salad. 3. 8pm no dinner. I called then they said wll check and get back. So no reply so i went to front office then I asked then manager said still preparing and they got all yhe orders together but actually once foreigners arrived they just simply avoid and ignored us. We checked in first and we requested early dinner and they completely ignored and dont care attitude 2nd time my self and husband went and ask again by that time foreigners were eating absolutely fine as a hotelier we need foreign more people to our country. But guest should equally treated and we also paid 16500 for HB and other extra orders so we dont come here for free. So finally 9.15pm we got our dinner but wrong order. Poor kid slept without eating just think 2year old kid wll stay late to eat???? Simply this is just 4 cabanas and they cannot serve for their guests. Really dissapointed about this sri lankan attitude. Cuz we as a hotelier last few years we servived cuz of our valuble local customers when during pandemic. But sad truth is this. Person who owns this Mr Nishantha Kamalasiri former government worker he also dont no what is guest service. I ll publish these comments anywahere cux this kind of people spoiling the tourim and hotel trade in sri lanka.

Kandy Cabana Eco Resort is the perfect location to relax and chill out😍 Food was super delicious and the exceptional warm and friendly service. The staff wass amazing. Beautifull location. Excelant service. Delicious foods served to the cabana. Amazing view from the cabana towards river. Highly recommended. Definitely visit again. A superb place. The property is well maintained and beautiful garden facing mahaweli river. Staff are all lovely. A stay where you can feel very comfortable and relaxed.
