Bad property toilet stocked up , no toilet paper the shower head was broken fell on my foot and injured me

The only good thing was the beach out front. Was very pretty and also all the pools. Food was terrible

The overall experience was good. I feel like the bedrooms need a little bit more of remodeling specially in the bathroom, and maybe add more outlets or charging stations for your cell phone or tablets. The pool was good and the food was good.

This property is extremely outdated. They do not offer room service, food is bland and the menu was the same every day. The rooms have literally 3 outlets to charge your devices. The bathroom has a tub that is so outdated is a hazard, it had rusted metal exposed. The smell around the facility is very prominent, almost like an old home. The only thing they have going is some of their staff members.

We had to move rooms as the thermostat was broken, The refrigerator needed replacing. They did let us move rooms and that room had a worse refrigerator, they did bring us a new one. The staff was great. the grounds and pools were well maintained. As far as the drinks, nothing top shelf, but if you like beer, margarita's & pina colodas, you'll be fine. The rooms new refurbishing Lots of choices in Mazatlan, dont know if I would stay here again though.

It is far from shopping, but you can take the bus or a taxi into town. It was a fully relaxed stay.

The resort was great…… but the food was not my thing and it may just be me but I was not impressed at all but also not even in town was the food good so it may be my palette. Resort was clean I wish they would restock coffee daily but that was a struggle. I would stay again but being a big coffee drinker I’ll bring my own next time. And probably some snacks as well.

The beach is one of my favorites I loves the ocean and beach area , the resort itself needs a lot of work, our whole group had stomach problems after eating their food we ended up having to leave resort or order Uber eats that was the biggest minus of the trip , nobody wants to feel sick on their trip, definitely need to work on food and cleanliness, hand washing etc. also making reservation at 7 am sucks restaurants should be first come first serve all the other riu chain we’ve been to it’s first come first serve. Our room was nice we got one of the newer rooms and our view was beautiful!

Overall we have been happy with our stays at RIU resorts and this was no exception. We had two issues in our room with a safe locked at checkin and electricity. But maintenance was in our room within minutes to correct. The facility was large, with multiple dining options and plenty of loungers around the pools. Food was above average for an All Inclusive and they were fully staffed with fast, friendly and efficient service wherever you went. This resort is a distance from downtown and the hotel zone so not much within walking distance and about a 30 minute drive to town. However, taxis and Uber were very affordable compared to other resort towns.
