妻と先日1泊しました。とても満足のいく滞在でした。スタッフはとても親切で、近くに大人数のグループがいたので外の音がうるさかったのですが、コンシェルジュが快く別の部屋に変更してくれました。

Although the rain kept us from enjoying the beautiful valley views, there was so much to explore inside the hotel. Sitting by the fireplace with a cocktail in hand was incredibly romantic, and the sound of the rain made the experience even more memorable.

I booked this hotel for our 5-year anniversary, as we thought it would be a lovely place to celebrate, with a nice location, great views, and the chance to enjoy dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. Since only garden-view rooms were available on Trip.com, we booked one, and I also mentioned in the notes that it was for our anniversary. While we weren’t expecting an upgrade, we were disappointed to find our room’s “view” was almost completely blocked by a large tree. For a special occasion, I had hoped for at least a small gesture or a nicer placement of the room. The restaurant staff were friendly, but it was clear they struggled when things got busy, which affected the overall dining experience. Finally, at checkout, we weren’t even asked how our stay was, which left us feeling undervalued as guests. For what was meant to be a memorable anniversary, the experience fell short of expectations.

This was a relatively well furnished hotel in the Blue Mountains area where there isn't a lot of choice. The dark interior design may not be for everyone but I thought it was rather modern chic while retaining the classic character of the property. Shame that we couldn't book larger rooms (not sure if they're even available or not) so we had to book two rooms for our family of three. The fireside bar was very nice serving delicious cocktails. The breakfast has a stunning panoramic view and the food selection was fair. I would recommend this hotel more for couples, but we still had a nice stay overall.
