Such a lovely and friendly staff. The food at the restaurant was delicious and our room was nicely updated and very clean. Couldn’t be happier!

I came here for a few days of relaxation after being at a show in Milan and couldn't have picked a nicer hotel or place to stay. It's an easy train ride out of the city if you don't want to drive and is so peaceful up here. The staff at the hotel are very kind and accommodating, the food is fantastic and the service is stellar. The grounds are beautifully maintained, there is a pool and private beach to enjoy, plus fun activities such SUP. The hotel rooms are updated and very clean, while the hotel has beautiful old-world charm and lots of history (owner said it's been in the family for 3 generations and it is clear they take a lot of pride in great hospitality) . The town of Meina is quaint, with lots of winding roads, great for biking, hiking and walking (if you don't mind hills!!) Highly recommend this gotel if you are looking for some down time to unwind.

Quiet, excellent breakfast and great dining experience.

The pros: Very nice mansion with well maintained pool and beach areas. Ample free parking available. Luggage was brought to the room. Friendly staff. Our room had been renovated recently. Good airconditioning. There’s a nice looking outside lake view restaurant however we haven’t tried. The to be improved: Upon arrival the restaurant was closed for lunch (yet there were some small dishes available). In between the hotel and the lake/beach there is a busy road. There is no bar service on the beach and as far as I know also not at the pool area (and at the same time the hotel states you can’t consume self brought items…). All in all small things. Rooms with balconies would be great.

We really enjoyed this hotel. We had a large room with a balcony on the third floor with lake views. The room was clean and modern. Breakfasts were wonderful! Wait staff were polite and professional. We also enjoyed the restaurant (dinner); we found prices to be very reasonable and the food delicious. The little beach is only accessible by crossing the windy, somewhat treacherous street, but didn't have any problems getting to it safely. The lake was a lovely temperature (much warmer than the pool).

Wonderful family run hotel

A place of true Agatha Christie charm. Just beside the lake, this hotel and its staff will give you the nicest of times. It’s a bit worn through the years but it has kept its charm and magic. The multilingual staff is as good as it gets and the restaurant gives you an Italian cousine with international touch. Absolutely in my taste. All the marble, the silver cutlery and the cheer size of the place make you think that Hercule Poirot would be as happy as ever here. And if it’s good enough for him - it’s good enough for me!

Sehr hübsches Hotel im Style einer italienischen Villa, direkt am See mit eigenem, grossen Strand. Sehr schönes, komplett, frisch renoviertes Zimmer mit sehr gutem Bett und riesiger Dusche. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Hotelpersonal. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten direkt auf dem Gelände. Separater Pool mit Liegewiese. Gutes Frühstück, mit frischem Orangensaft, Eierspeisen etc.. Sehr gutes Restaurant. Sichere Unterstellmöglichkeit für SUP und Fahrrad. Der Ort Arona ist nahegelegenen und sehenswert.

Sono stato con un gruppo numeroso in questo Hotel; a nome di tutti i partecipanti Vi devo fare i complimenti perchè siete stati eccezionali. Hotel 4 stelle tutte confermate, posizione da "urlo" con spiaggetta di fronte, la hall ampia con numerosi spazi e dotata di bar, camere pulite, bagno con doccia spazioso, ristorazione con ottimi piatti composti e di qualità. Vi ringraziamo infine per la gentilezza, l'ospitalità, e la disponibilità a soddisfare qualsiasi richiesta. Molto Professionali gli addetti alla reception e gli addetti alla cucina. Da consigliare.
