このホテルの場所はとても良いです、サービスは特に歓迎されています、駐車場があります、速度はとても速いです、それは訪れる価値のある場所です。歩行者専用道路から5分、15分でウォルマートがあります。値段は高くなく、本当に美しいです。安いです

This is a 3 star review based on averaging 1 star concerns and 5 star aspects. 1-star concerns relate to safety. Two things that were concerning: (1) my father slipped and fell in the bathroom at 4AM and lost consciousness. When I yelled loudly for help in the courtyard (including ”hospital!!” because we thought he maybe had a heart attack or was otherwise dying), NO ONE RESPONDED. The hotel is an open air building all facing an inner courtyard so someone should have heard my loud yelling, especially when pitch quiet at 4AM. Thankfully, my father was OK later that night and next day. (2) When I told this story to the front desk the next day, the woman was not at all concerned that a guest could have died at their property. I asked to confirm that someone works the night shift, so I am not sure why no one responded that night. She asked if we called the front desk that night, which I did not because my father was possibly dying so no, I did not have time to figure out what the front desk number was at 4AM. Also no one responded to me YELLING for help, so I doubt someone would pick up the phone. She said she would tell the night shift, but there was otherwise no follow up. I also provided this story on a guest comment card when we left - also no follow up. 5-star - hotel is in a great location in the center of town near the main plaza, and it is a charming building with a lovely courtyard and rooftop pool. As other reviews mention, the rooms are rustic/simple/basic but they are perfectly serviceable, especially given the price and location. If not for the safety concerns, I would stay again.

NH Collection is a modern, trendy hotel located near Merida Centro. The restaurant provides paid breakfast which is quite tasty, and as world travelers, we have found no finer dining service than that provided by our most attentive, courteous and genuinely kind server, Ezekuiel! The General Manager truly cares about the guest experience and stopped by our table to inquire as to our stay. Not many of the front desk staff speak English. However, Elmer (the bellhop) served as a welcomed translator during our 16-day stay.

Terrible stay. When we arrived, the front desk did not welcome us with courtesy and smile. It took a long time to find us our room even though we arrived way pass the 3pm permitted check-in time. They did mention that the elevator was not working but will be the next day. Not that it mattered much because we were on the 2nd floor, but don`t make promises that they cannot keep. We stayed for 9 nights and the elevator was not working when we left. Before she gave us to our room, there was no mention that there was going to be some jack hammering outside our room in the adjacent construction site during the day. We ask the front desk to change our room to a inside courtyard room because we do take siestas in the afternoon. After an hour, they did reluctantly gave us an inside courtyard room. Then on our 7th day of stay, they maid did not make our room and we had to find the manager, Ernesto as to why our room was not cleaned and made? Is not like we just checked in the day before and maid may not be aware that someone was occupying that room. He apologized and guaranteed that the room will be made at 9am the next day after we leave in the morning. We returned at 3:30pm and the room was still not made. We had to find Ernesto again and he said that he will talk to the head of the cleaning staff and have it done immediately. Eventually as we were leaving for dinner at 5pm, a cleaning lady came to clean and make the room. Ernesto did provide us with 2 free breakfasts for the remaining 2 days. We would not even rate this as a 3 star hotel when we had to pay $150/night. Every day, we had to call the front desk because there was something missing from the room, if it was not towels, it was soap or bottles of water. Also, on the last night that we stayed, there a number of people in the courtyard (pool area) laughing loudly and partying until 2am. We will not be staying at this location when we return to Merida next year.
