After a long day on the road, our flight was leaving at 7:30 the next morning. All we wanted was to eat dinner in a hotel near the airport, and take the shuttle the next morning, this is why I reserved at this hotel, about a month in advance. Weren't we surprised when we learned that the restaurant is not open on weekends, and that although the web site indicates that there is a free shuttle to/from the airport, this service is no longer available. I had to make arrangements with Hertz to drop off the car a day later, and we had to find a restaurant in the area, which was also difficult. I am not sure if restaurants close during the school holiday, but it seemed that one out of two restaurants in the area was closed on a Saturday night. For the rest, the rooms are ordinary, the carpets could be refreshed. We spent a week in Basque Country in 4-star and 5-star hotels, and the Kyriad Prestige definitely doesn't disserve 4 stars. What a disappoin**ent!

This is very convenient for the airport but is a basic place to stay - ideal for youngster backpacking or sports teams, but not for tourists visiting Bordeaux - the staff were friendly and helpful

We had booked this hotel for 7 days. There is a tramline into Bordeaux that goes from outside the hotel and takes about 30 minutes. We bought a 7 day ticket and used it every day so excellent value but the trams are very busy sometimes so we had to stand on some trips. If you're staying here and don't want to use the tram then you'll definitely need a car as it's basically on the side of the motorway. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we checked in. Rooms are big and clean. Nice and quiet. Loads of parking. Breakfast was okay. The pool is very small (not really big enough to swim in it) and not heated so we didn't use it. Overall a nice hotel, but probably more suited for business use or stop overs due to location.

A perfect hotel for the night before our flight. It is ideally situated just off the rocade to the airport but nestled amongst the trees so that you forget the proximity to the main road. The staff were lovely, the food fantastic and the outside terrace allowed us that holiday feeling roght to the end!

The first night was fine, the restaurant pretty ordinary but acceptable, room exactly as shown in photos, staff pleasant - then the next night! A large group of German tourists took over the place - noisy, shrieking children out of control and running riot while their parents were away in the restaurant (closed to the rest of the guests) which went on for hours. The staff were sympathetic, but could not control them. This went on for hours, then back in the room had to listen to kids screaming, parents screaming at kids, then parents screaming at each other, After midnight before it was possible to sleep - the at 7AM awakened by same yelling and screaming and banging doors. Staff today (Sunday) not at all sympathetic or helpful. Suggestion to management: why dont you put noisy families away from other guests??' Your staff on check in and on Saturday were lovely - can't say the same fr today (Sunday). Completely unhelpful.

Excellent service (although early checkin a bit pricey at 50 euros!) Room great, comfy towels and bed. Great reception staff who were really helpful taking time to show us around facilties and aldo how to use tram service

Quadruple family room with mezzanine floor perfect for us, but watch the stairs with little ones! Staff couldn't be friendlier, restaurant food fantastic and staff in restaurant friendly and knowledgeable. Room clean. Lovely clean pool.
