Great place to stay...very friendly. Good job!

I gave one star because I could not give less. We discovered after our first night that the door to our room did not match and so anyone walking down the hall could push our door open. We reported it to the front desk when leaving for the day on our 2nd day there. We were told that they would have maintenance fix the door or they would givecud a new room. We returned at 8:00 that evening only to discover the door had not been fixed. The evening manager then came to our room to try to fix the door by jiggling the handle and turning the lock manually. When that failed, he finally gave us a new room. Also, the TV in the room did not work. In the new room, we found dust bunnies and paper behind the door, the drawer front was falling off. The blackout curtains were coming off the hooks and did not close properly, and the bed skirt was ripped. While relaxing in the room late in the afternoon, an employee, not housekeeping, attempted to enter the room. Fortunately, I had secured the foorvftom the inside. Run, don’t walk, from this hotel.

We checked out an hour after checking in. Hotel is gross and not well maintained. Hallway reeked of ****. Little of the ******* listing was accurate when we arrived. There was floating sludge in the pool that was visible from the hallway. Traveling with my little I did not feel safe there.

There is no way that this hotel should be rated over a 5. Yes the lobby was pleasant, but the room was musty, the curtains wouldn't close all the way, the toilet was running, We ultilize the 20 minute inspection of the room and check out immediately. They wouldn't wait until I decided to stay and charge my card, and could'nt refund me quickly. Stay at your own risk. You get what you pay for.

First impression is that it’s an older hotel.. older hotels come with quirks like a musty smell, some dust, etc. We get to the room and the tv doesn’t work - says it’s not connected or something. Go to the front desk and she says there’s an outage, we go to our concert and come back 7 hours later and it’s still down. We find out the next morning from a different employee that they didn’t pay the bill for the tv service so it was cancelled. We weren’t notified beforehand there would be no tv. We go to breakfast, come back and there is A SNAKE IN OUR ROOM. We left.

I was told I couldn’t have a spare blanket because there was a blanket on each bed, we had 3 guests, sp**** on towels made sure each were accounted for, no fridge, couldn’t use indoor pool or hot tub, one trash can with no liner, had main door locked and had to wait in the cold weather for someone to open main doors.

Price was GREAT! Interior was refurbished and room was nice. Breakfast was included and good. Hotel is off the beaten path in a busy area outside Chicago. Overall, a very good deal.

The only like was the location convenience. But there are other motels in the same area as well. Property is ran down motel not very clean. The staff was not very accommodating. Microwave in my room didn’t work ask if it could be replaced they said yes but never did. Asked for clean bed sheets and towels that never happened either. An entry door was being propped open with a stick because the key card reader wasn’t working to unlock it. Wasn’t worth the money I spent to stay there.
