ホテル ランド グート ホェーネ(Hotel Land Gut Hohne)

The nightly rooms were too hot and uncomfortable. No AC, fan nor air circulation. One window didn't have a screen so you couldn't open it. Suggest offering a fan to quests. Everything else was great: food, meeting rooms, service etc.

The hotel seemed great for a minute. The first front desk woman was kind and allowed us to hold our bags and pay for the spa to kill time since we arrived much earlier than expected. Pool and resting areas are very clean and nice. A lot of options to relax and not a lot of traffic. But when we checked in there was no AC so it was pretty stuffy and hot and never cooled down even with the windows open. The main issue was having the second person working at the front desk try and hold our food we ordered hostage. I am vegetarian so I opted out of their expensive buffet. We got no notice of our food being delivered. Only found out when we passed by the front desk walking around the hotel. The worker proceeded to vaguely threaten us saying we wouldn’t be treated so kindly next time we ordered food to the hotel because it was forbidden. Followed by her hesitating to go behind the counter where our food was being stashed as if she wasn’t going to give it to us. She then reiterated we needed to get our food out of sight to avoid her coworker also being unkind over what we ordered. It was extremely off putting given what we paid for the room and spa. Also there was nothing stated to us about this policy so we were blindsided.

Great for nature and spa lovers with biz meetings in Düsseldorf, as close to A3 exit and great spa, breakfast, nearby hiking and pools.

This hotel is very warm, relaxing and authentic. the smell of wood fire when entering the hotel is just magical. The room is comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is very good and organic. I would recommend it - I love it!

Lovely place with eco policy, excellent food and cozy spa. A bonus if you play the piano there is one in the hotel lobby and guests are allowed to play. The old-fashion style of the hotel pleasantly differs it from standard options. I enjoyed celebrating my birthday at this spa hotel:)

We loved it! Perfect! Exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful relaxing hotel/restaurant/spa. Lots of cosy places to get together. The bar in the evening was really nice too. We highly recommend this lovely place. The value for money is also really good.

Awesome place. Sauna could be open longer than 7 pm though

The hotel changed the Covid rules when I arrived requiring a test from their guests on a daily basis. It was by far the most retroactive rule any business set up during the time I was in Germany. In addition to this the hotel used to have a reputation of being excellent years ago. It is not a luxury hotel anymore. Rooms are very simple, beds (futon mattress) is sp**** and uncomfortable, the duvet is the quality of a blanket in an old youth hostel and the bathrooms are just old…

It was an excellent time. The people in the hotel are super friendly and the food is delicious.
