Don’t ever book them! They are robbery and rude! They charged us 30 AUD at the desk for late check in at 19:00. Here is the conversation (roughly): Staff: Late check in after 5 pm will be charged for 30 dollars. Me: Why? No one told us. Me: You didn’t put it on your Terms and Conditions. I don’t know it. Staff: Yes it’s not in the T&C but we emailed you. Me: When? Staff: Yesterday afternoon. (Looking for emails) Me: Yes, it’s at 4pm and we are travelling whole days, is that an effectiveness notice? Staff: Yes, we emailed you. I was in great shock and speechless. Staff later asked: What are you gonna do now? Pay?

We immediately felt descriminated as soon as we arrived in the unit unloading our bags and the lady manager followed us questioning how many are staying when we already told her and registered 4 people. We find Metung a very friendly and beautiful place and unfortunately this particular place made you feel you’re not welcome. I think she’s in a wrong type of business. I even called her and she hung up on me. What a disgrace. Definitely not recommending this place.

Absolutely disgraceful manager Juanita. She abused me verbally over the phone when I contacted regarding bond return. Then proceeded to send me messages calling me a pig. From other reviews it appears this is common behaviour from her.

Booked this online and was just expecting something real basic for an overnight stay. Was greeted at reception with a big smile by Juanita. Check in was fast and informative. Juanita gave me some local recommendations on places to visit that did not disappoint (Like the Metung Hotel). The room is spotlessly clean, heater was already turned on and you could tell by the attention to detail and the extra chocolates on the bed, these guys are very good at making guests feel special and important.

We visited here for our only short break from work, 5 days, with the kids on the school holidays just before school started and discovered that the pool shut at 7.00 pm. We paid premium rates to book this place on school holidays, nearly double the amount that is advertised now. Our main draw card for booking was having access to the pool. We do not have a pool at home and we came from heatwave conditions in Melbourne and was really looking forward to this trip. We were all exhausted from work and school and this was our only time off to spend together as a family and we just wanted to relax by the pool. We placed great emphasis on there being a pool and 7.00pm was way to early to shut down a pool. Most of the advertising of this place is based around the pool and that was the basis of us booking this place. If we had known that the pool shut at 7.00pm I would not have spent a penny here and would rather have gone elsewhere. Very Disappointed !!!

We only stayed one night as part of a road trip but would definitely come back again. Our villa was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Despite being almost booked out it was quiet and peaceful. Well run and great customer service, guests are well looked after.

The staff were friendly, and the villa was all the we needed for some time away to refresh and recharge. The villas are within walking distance to the shops and shoreline and on arrival we were very pleased to walk into a airconditioned villa with all the essentials plus little treats! Perfect for some time out!
