What an unusual treat this was! Very artsy and fun place to stay. The service was outstanding along with breakfast and happy hour! My only complaint would be our very tiny room.

It’s hard to describe the magic of Ignacia Guest House but visited with my wife on a 4 day getaway and it could not have been a better home base for a slow paced exploration of the city. We started every morning with bird watching over an incredible fresh made breakfast bake, and jump started every evening with a lovely cocktail in the jacuzzi. The decor was chic but extremely welcoming, the location was somehow both quiet and mere blocks from the bustle of Roma Norte, and of course the incredible staff made us feels both waited-on and alone in the castle (special thanks to Sebastian who made us feel like such VIPs). Feels like we might be ruined for all our future hotels, but well worth the memories. Thank you!

This was easily my favorite stay while in CDMX. The home/lobby area was so beautifully designed, decorated, and spotlessly clean. The center garden area was lush, immaculately tended to, and so peaceful. Getting to enjoy my morning coffee from the balcony looking out at it was so relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and having their kind and talented staff cooking in the open kitchen next door was a lovely intimate touch to a home-cooked experience. I definitely plan on booking again if I’m ever back in town.

Lovely and beautifully designed small hotel. Service was great, breakfast was delicious. We loved the location- it was quiet and near fun restaurants and shops. The only criticism was dim bathroom lighting (like almost every hotel) and one of those rain showers without a handheld option, which is always a challenge when you don’t want to wash your hair). Overall a great stay.

Awesome location, friendly and welcoming staff, delicious breakfast, and gorgeous space. The room was small, but very well set up. Little touches go a long way - like plenty of hooks in the bathroom, a clothing steamer, and even hair styler! The shared spaces were also gorgeous and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone staying in CDMX.

This was one of our favorite hotel experiences ever. Yes, the grounds and location are perfect, but we were really knocked out by how helpful and generous all of the staff were. From the very start, when Gina, the owner, offered to move us to a room that was larger than the one we had booked, to all the suggestions for restaurants and museums that Magda and Gerardo shared, everyone we met was wonderful. Right down to the nice maintenance man who found us a piece of cardboard and scissors to protect a painting we bought at El Bazar Sábado. Everything was clean and fresh. The breakfasts were delicious, and the women who cooked and served them were so friendly, and remembered our coffee/tea preferences after just 1 morning. If they’re serving their carrot muffins ask for an extra!

The hotel is charming and well located with good breakfast and friendly staff. The prices on the “honor bar” are exorbitant- $17 for a single glass from a $12 bottle of Prosecco. We lost a night of sleep due to a raucous party next door that lasted until 3 am. The owner determined this disruption warranted no credit and generally declined responsibility for ensuring a restful guest experience. Overall nice hotel but I personally wouldn’t stay here again.
