Las Alcobas, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Mexico City

This is a brilliant boutique luxury hotel in Mexico. What’s stands out is their excellent modern infrastructure and more importantly their brilliant personalised service. The staff absolutely stands out and is at par with the Mandarin or Taj - homely and always keen to help - takes out the commerciality. The neighbourhood is extremely safe (Polanco is an upmarket neighbourhood) and there are tons of brilliant restaurants all in walking distance. The only caveat on location is traffic - getting in and out of Polanco to visit tourist sites etc can be a bit frustrating at peak hours like in most big cities - just make time for it and staff will be able to guide you

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. Beautiful functional rooms with lots of storage and lovely amenities. Well located with excellent service and friendly staff. We had breakfast on the hotel and it was delicious. Their chocolate chip cookies are rich and scrumptious. My only comment would be to add a lighted mirror on the desk in the room. Everything else was terrific.

We had an amazing first visit to Mexico City! We are so glad we chose to stay at Las Alcobas! The staff was so kind, knowledgeable & personal. We especially loved Bruno Rendon & Jose Luls. They treated us especially well! The rooms were beautiful, breakfast was delicious & locations was perfect to walk to all the shops & restaurants. We can’t wait to come back again soon!

This hotel is one of the best I've stayed at. The experience was 5 star plus. The property itself is well designed and beautiful; our room was comfortable as well as beautifully designed. But it's the service that is the highlight. Every single staff member was helpful, thoughtful, and gracious. The concierges are knowledgeable and professional. The reception staff was helpful and gracious. And the bell staff were absolutely warm, gracious and thoughtful. A great example was on our last night when my daughter wasn't feeling well, they went out to the pharmacy for us. We didn't even ask, they offered. Congratulations to the management for cultivating such an incredible team of professionals. The hotel was one of the highlights of our trip and we hope to return some time soon.

Everything about this beautiful hotel was perfect. The location, the cleanliness, the spa, and the restaurant were all wonderful. However, the biggest standout was the concierge service who went above and beyond to make arrangements for us. I highly recommend!

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at! Great comfortable hotel in a swanky neighborhood. We loved the very spacious Masaryk suite with a beautiful balcony for in suite dining and views of the city. The breakfast (amazing stuffed french toast that I still dream of!) and dinner options (humongous delicious Caesar salad!) were delicious and the portion sizes very generous. Our room on the 7th floor was quite peaceful in spite of being on a busy street. Housekeeping was great and the rooms were very comfortable. Engineering team swiftly adjusted the AC low setpoint to drop the temperature further to suit our preferences. Nice modern touches - the blinds and lights are all controlled through tablets and have themes. We appreciated the comfortable ride to the airport they arranged for us, as Uber had been unreliable as far as comfort/AC goes during our stay in the city. Amazing steam shower and heated bidet seat, hard to find in many high end hotels. Just beware that many areas of interest to tourists are a bit far due to sometimes terrible traffic.

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in! Nice big bathrooms with wonderful soaps/shampoos plus all the extras you need and probably forgot to pack. The service provided by the staff was the best I've experienced in any 5 star hotel. They cheerfully went out of their way to anticipate every need and were super responsive to every request. I can't wait to stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay. From Pablo the doorman to Bruno the concierge to Santiago our waiter at breakfast everyone brought their A game and made our stay very memorable. Location was great, hand drawn bath amenity was perfect at the end of a long day of sightseeing. Corner room was very nice. The general manager is on location and has created a memorable experience on all fronts.

Where to begin? Alcobas has a great location in a neighborhood of upscale shopping surrounded by great restaurants. Spotlessly clean, elegantly appointed with a charming and truly welcoming and accomodating staff (especially Angel and Bruno!). Our new go-to spot in Mexico City.
