パレ ル ブラン(Palais le Brun)

Très bel hôtel et raffiné . Chambre très conformable et calme. Petit déjeuner exceptionnel.

It was a nice stay. However for a 5-star hotel, there is no full body mirror, no bidet, table and chair as per description. Also, the description of room categories here in Trip. com are misleading so better to double check it first with them. For the toiletries, the hand soap, shampoo & conditioner, and shower gel are all same. I was under the impression that atleast there will be conditioner but all are same and my hair became very dry. The lotion, cotton buds were not replensihed for a 3-night stay. For the Tv, we struggled to operate and no English channel. I tried to call reception but no one’s answering. Breakfast is ok and the staffs serving breakfast were so nice and polite. Room was so clean. However as the room was in the ground floor, we always here the lift and when people are cleaning or doing things in the corridor.

We were let down by this hotel. We arranged a late check out which wasn’t provided for. There was a half drunk bottle of wine int he fridge, the red wine was in the fridge and the beer had a puncture in it. There were also building works going on from early in the morning. Not great.

In the middle of the old Valetta, near everything. To the bus station : 20 min of walk but you can go every where in the islands easily. The city is on a small mountain and there is a lot stairs on the sidewalk...be careful or if needed take a taxi. Very good breakfast with cold and hot plate. Pool on the top is small but very friendly and clean, nice patio around. Good Gym Room. Elevator or stairs to go to your room. Room is clean, tall and convenient. The view from our room was a wall but we go there to sleep so it doesn't matter.... The staff was very helpful and always on good mood despite the broken system of the door card for each room...the came with us each time we need to go to our room... Good experience and a place to discover .

Het hotel is bijzonder goed gelegen op slecht een straat van het ‘bruisende’ centrum, waar je vele bars, restaurants en winkels kunt vinden. Ook goed gelegen om te voet Valletta te verkennen. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk, het ontbijt heel goed, nette kamer, geen minpunten op te merken. Absoluut een aanrader. De dag dat we moesten uit checken hebben we nog de hele dag van de faciliteiten mogen gebruik maken (zwembad, etc,…) alvorens we tegen de avond moesten vertrekken.

Location is fantastic. Pool area and pool bartender were excellent. Breakfast was lovely - I sat at a table on a gorgeous side street. I asked for, and had verbal confirmation for, a taxi to the airport at 6:30am. Unfortunately the driver was not there - the reception had not contacted anyone. I couldn’t get another driver for 10 minutes. I’ve never had that level of miscommunication around airport transportation with a hotel before. Additionally, the bathtub did not drain, the rain head shower didn’t work, and the light in the bathroom didn’t work. Maintenance did fix the light and the drain but the rain head shower never worked.
