The bathrooms with obviously superficial to non-existent cleaning (hair, dust) with a strong sewage smell, the floor dirty, the sheets & towels with black & yellow stains. We very politely asked the front desk to repeat the cleaning and give some solution to the smell issue where they assured us that they would take care of it. When we returned, to our great surprise, the rooms were in exactly the same condition. As the inconvinience continued at all leveles, one of the families decided to depart earlier as they could not stand the smell and poor cleanliness. (while the reasons for leaving were communicated repeatedly, they were asked to pay for all remaining days - which of course they refused!) Unfortunately, our bad experience was compounded by the rude behavior of the employees, the unheated lobby that was locked every day from 11:00 p.m., kicking people off the sofas, sending us to our rooms or out (we were told the phrase from an employee "come now, don't complain"), the otherwise rich but frozen (every day) breakfast, the front desk that also closed by lowering the blinds (fortunately there was no emergency during the evening), the neglected gym (3 machines in total and only one was working), the permanently covered indoor pool which, although with free entry, was only available by an appointment, which was never made available despite repeated requests for access). It should be noted that in addition to us, two other rooms complained about some of the same issues (drainage smell and dirt). The one star I am forced to give as a rating is flattering. If there wasn't occupancy throughout the wider area due to the Christmas season, it goes without saying that we would all have left on day one.
