We took Flexibus to Middelfart from Copenhagen for a change, the bus drop off point is only 300 meters away to the hotel. Fantasitic harbour and bridges views from hotel terrace. We have had our best time in Denmark biking along the water having rented bikes from hotel reception. Middelfart is kind of a city where you can get relaxed and be free from affliction, Severin hotel experience is definitely a tip of an ice cream, most desired and pleasant. Strongly recommended.

Fortunately, Severin was the setting for a one-day seminar - i.e. no overnight stay, so the rooms are not rated. The place is easy to get to, is beautifully located with a view of the Little Belt, and has a good interior. The food is really good and tasty, and the cake table is in a class of its own. The rooms are well-furnished and the acoustics are good - also in the restaurant. A pot of coffee/tea to fill up the teacup with for the way home is a luxury when you're going home. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and attentive, so everything suggests that the place is a real Funen gem.

Nice atmosphere and clearly run on good principles of solidarity and trust. The trust-bar was a hit with my international colleagues. The food was of high quality. Limited vegetarian options, but no one left the table hungry. We stayed there for a business trip and used pauseriet in the evening, but could actually have stayed upstairs as there are plenty of cozy areas for minor groups.

I have been there several times facilitating workshops. The level is very high not matter the subject: the facilities, food, rooms and especially the service and flexibility are outstanding. All the staff are performing, and you feel they like it.

Serverin has a solid concept where you feel appriciated with many nice details. I.e a seasonal nut buffet, boardgames in cozy lounge area, excellent coffee selection available 24/7 and a softdrink soft drink Trust Bar. And very importantly the staff is authentic and attentive. The beds are also comfortable - all the elements of being at home is represented at Serverin - this is a rare experionce in todays hotel profiles. We stay at Severin as much as we can while traveling in Denmark, also if it means driving additional kilometers to the destination.

I have stayed at Severin several times and I have never been disapointed - even though my expectations are high because they always have excellent service. Even if I try I can't think of anything bad.
