If you are a light sleeper, stay away from this apt. Sound insulation is very poor, I was on the second floor, there were family staying above me with two kids running around. I could not get a good night of sleep while I was at this hotel, its as pictured, clean and spacious and beautiful but stay away if you are a light sleeper or asked to be on a third floor. Just pack light, there is no elevator at this apt.

We spent 4 nights here, at the top (3rd) floor, in a cozy, well thought room. Very clean, newly-ish decorated (5 years?), comfortable bed, kitchenette, fridge, even 2 books from Torga. Nice large bathroom with very modern amenities. The only inconvenience: no elevator. Oh, and we needed to watch our heads when standing (we had a loft). We were helped with the luggage by one of the managers (Diogo), and during our stay the other manager (Márcia) was also extremely helpful. There is a private parking in the back, easily accessible. The street is full of art galleries, one even in the same building with the suites. We highly recommend the restaurant Xau Laura down the street, and the park behind the Super Bock Arena, with breathtaking views of the river. Also, the 48 hours pass on a Hop On Hop Off.

I loved Porto Downtown Lovers Suite. The room was large and nicely decorated. The building was quiet. There were lots of things in walking distance. I never used any form of transportation, I just walked to everything. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to Duoro River. The staff were very friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We really loved staying in this hotel and will definitely consider it for a return visit. Situated perfectly in between the Super Bock arena (where the convention was being held) and the heart of the tourist area downtown, it was very convenient for popping back to the room for a quick regroup. Their staff clearly cares for the cleanliness and condition of the hotel and does an excellent job! The room itself was well-appointed with a small kitchenette, very comfortable bed and a bathroom with all the necessities. We enjoyed the shutters for blocking out light in the day and sounds from the street at night and overall it was quite peaceful. The folks at reception were very helpful and kind during our stay and even offered to hold onto our bags before and after. We would recommend this boutique hotel to anyone and will definitely consider returning!

Very nice and neat. The room was very spacious with a little kitchen which was very convenient. Super comfortable. They don't have anyone at the front desk from 6 pm - 10 am the next day in case you need anything. There is an emergency number to call just in case there was something of urgent nature. That would be the only disadvantage I found

The hotel is not as pictured on the site there were also extensive stairs to get to room and staff on hand after 5pm

This property was more beautiful than we anticipated. The high ceilings, large bed, and full accommodations were greatly appreciated. Everything you need is within a 30 min walk and Bolt was always quick as well. When we come back to Porto, we would love to stay at this property again.

First the long instructios on how to enter and use the codes puzzled me a little but when you figure out at the place you start enjoying the beauty of the place. And private parkinglot is such a big deal in town when the streets are so narrow

There is a lot of art galleries on the street. Right up the hill is great shopping and eating options. Property had tall ceilings and felt roomy. The kitchen had the very basics as far as utensils, pots, plates, cups, etc. The grocery is very close so if you are staying more than a few days it is easy to pick up what you need for the day.
