ドメーヌ ドゥ ラ ブレテシュ(Domaine de La Bretesche)

I was part of a seminar and I was very pleased to go back! The service was spectacular to say the least, despite it being a huge property, everyone was attentive and available, smiling, elegant and easy going. It was a perfect place to have a seminar as you can work and rest seamlessly.

The hotel is in a lovely setting, the room was large and comfortable- slightly small bathroom and separate toilet but overall nice. Staff good, spa good. The place is let down by the bar and restaurant- it really wasn’t good at all, the waiting staff all tried very hard and were charming but the food was not good at all. I think get rid of the food and beverage manager and start again - couldn’t even make a good aperol spritz! Shame

The hotel and grounds were wonderful, the service was very attentive without being overbearing. The golf course was in very good condition for the autumn, the rooms were very good with good facilities.

Beautiful setting but a confusing set up. All booked through the hotel but we’re then told we needed to do everything through the golf shop reception. Weren’t allowed to set foot in the hotel. We booked one of their cottages for one night. The cottages are very dated but we knew that before we booked. No hot water available in the upstairs bathroom. Either very hot or very cold water in the downstairs bathroom. Wasps nest in the garden parasol. We’re charged extra on check out for COVID cleaning and city tax. Not fussed about paying it, came to less then €10 but when asking about it the woman on reception was incredibly rude. The pool was lovely and the man who served our breakfast was customer service personified. If i could rate him alone i’d give 5 stars.

Your are looking for a quiet place with an incredible surrounding, a great spa, a golf course and a swimming pool to stay, La Bretesche is definitely the place to go! It was not my first stay and it will be, for sure, not the last one!

My husband and I had an amazing day at Le Golf de La Bretesche. When we arrived for our tee time, the staff welcomed us so well, and were very attentive. The golf is very well maintained, beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for a relaxing 18 holes :-) The amenities are also great with everything you need (shower, towels, hair dryer) and very clean. After our tee time, we headed to the Club restaurant where we had an incredible lunch. The food was excellent, i recommend the burger (just amazing) the veggies are so fresh from their garden!! Then, we headed to the spa for an 1:30 hours of couples massage. I could hear my husband snore at some point, yes it was that good. The staff was again very attentive, asking about the pressure at the beginning to make sure it was up to our expectations. Then we enjoyed the inside pool and the quiet area with herbal tea. A perfect day!

Great place to rest. We had amazing villa with quite small garden. We have to thanks friendly reception with organazing landing with helicopter. Great place to fly to. Thanks to wonderfull people in hotel we had wonderfull rest. Everybody spoke english. Greatly recommended

We enjoyed our stay of 4 nights. Our room was a little small, but other than that the hotel is excellent. The food is very good and the staff is wonderful. The place is in the country, so beware of that.

The view upon arrival is amazing and the rest of the experience is at the same level : a friendly reception, a nice and clear room, a extraordanary dinner (we were lucky that thanks to the good weather we could have dinner outside on the inner court), a good bistrot on the site and a great golf course that has some great views of the castle.
