Check in was fair. Upon trying to check in, the clerk could not find the Comfort Suites Mobile confirmation number--nor could she find *******'s itinerary number.
I had provided and shown the clerk the sheet I had with all the information.
Fitted bed sheets were not wide enough--the corners weren't deep enough and kept coming off the mattress when we laid in the bed. Carpet was stained with foot rests placed over the stains. Breakfast was pretty good--the lady in charge of keeping food available on Nov. 18 was really great. A high school wrestling team was at the hotel with many members who needed to leave in a short amount of time; they were really "chowing down" but the lady did a really good job to keep refilling items. When large groups are registered and will be leaving at the same time, it is highly recommended that an assistant be provided in order to meet the high food demand over a short period of time.
When I asked for a receipt at checkout as we left, I questioned the lady at the counter as to why a Master Card had been charged. We don't have a Master Card. She and we were obviously unaware of what was involved with *******'s use of a "dummy Master Card" submittal. When I called ******* to ask a question about this, I was told that that type of receipt was not supposed to be given out to the customers.
All staff members we interfaced with were cordial, polite, and helpful.
