オテル ル シュヴァリエ ブルー

The Italian architect did an outstanding job with this ancient former Maison de Maitre. Tasteful blend of chic modern contrasting the warmth and charm of the old stone and timbers. The bathroom doors in bright red were a bit of a challenge first thing in the morning but that's picky. We never did figure out how the shower worked properly so worth asking. Staff very nice and friendly, helpful etc. The breakfast was very pleasant and enjoyable with a selection of baked goods, fruit, cheese , boiled eggs and ham.

Superb place, excellent design with respect for historical architecture, great staff, room almost perfect. Our room was huge, with sitting area and small kitchen. Access to shared balcony overlooking the pool. Large bed with comfortable mattress. Breakfast was simple but good - muesli, yoghurt, bread, cheese and ham, confitures, fruit juice and cafe alongee !! Some small irritations ( placement of light switches and small wash room so that I could not manage to face the only mirror while using hairdryer) but this is nit picking - the calm inspiration of the hotel permeates you if you let it.

In het hotel hebben wij NIET verbleven. Enkel in de aanpalende Bistro geluncht. En dat was lekker. Plache de Perigord... Een aanrader, ook met vriendelijke bediening en hele nette toiletten. Het ligt in een straat vlak achter het hoofdplein.

Ce n‘est pas de l’hôtellerie: le ménage n‘est fait que tous les 3 jours - il ne font pas le lit, ne changent pas les serviettes, ne vérifient pas si il y a suffisamment de papier WC , de mouchoirs pour le démaquillage…. Ah , l’écologie a bon dos!! Moi je trouve cela pas écologique mais je qualifierai cela comme un manque d’hygiène….. A notre arrivée : draps de lit sals, nous avons demandé qu’on les change, deuxième housse de couette et d’oreiller également sals - 3 eme housse de couette ok! La couette faisait 1.8m tout comme le lit! Tout juste! Cherchez l’erreur ?!! Soit-disante salle de bains: si vous levez vos coudes vous touchez les murs de chaque côté, difficile de se faire un brushing. Manque de place pour poser vos affaires de toilette Les chaussons fournis sont en tissus resorbable. Comme geste commercial ils nous ont offert le supplément chien, ok, mais Je n’y retournerai plus !!!
