Was the best stay I had in a long time and thank you for the extra night that we could stay. There were so many activities for the kids and everybody that stayed around our chalet was well mannered and friendly. We would definitely make another trip when the pools heat is up to standard but that did not put the kids off from swimming.

We booked this much needed vacation for my son's birthday. House was lovely but we were disappointed when we had no water from Sunday afternoon beyond check out the next day. Staff were well aware of the water shut down and did not inform us prior to avoid cancelation or rescheduled bookings. The heated pool was also not working.

Our stay was a bit disappointing we do make an effort to stay annually, and the heated pool is one of the main reasons we do it just before winter hits. The heated pools broken since June 2024 we went again this year, and it still wasn't fixed and we were only informed about this after we made enquiries, we still haven't gotten a valid reason for the pool situation.

No hot water pool although there was the hotel springs is there,but it was to cold to walk so far and expensive for four days x2 people we come to montagu once a year always this year it was disappointing

Before arriving we were advised to use the pools at Avalon Springs because the Montagu Springs pools were “not warm enough”. However, the pools at Avalon weren’t warm either. We of course booked the trip especially for the springs. On our second day we had no warm water in our chalet but it was resolved later that day. All my calls to reception we answered and my requests were promptly seen to. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall my kids had a blast and we would definitely visit again.

Not very pretty on arrival. The building looked very run down with louvers not working and broken. The floor was patched with duct tape. No blinds over windows
