I came here for a quiet get away. They “upgraded” me without me asking BUT to a room that had construction going on outside. I specially asked if there would be noise and they said no they are starting in two weeks. I went to change rooms because I had a bad feeling and the front desk was cold and acted like I had the audacity to ask and that they could down grade me back, when clearly the hotel was not full. Next morning, I get woken up to noise the one day I could sleep in. Took them till 3pm to change my room when I called them at 8am. Also the heat did not work. It was 63 degrees and I was freezing. Poorly managed, No credit or late check out offered or anything no one cared at all. I had to ask for late check out and they gave me only 30 minutes….The new room was lovely but the staff literally does not care about you or your experience at all. The main saving grace is the bath house. It’s epic and amazing and the safe was nice and on top of it, feels high end And the fitness classes with Kat were amazing. Kat went out of her way to provide excellence. The gym was great. The food was really good. Drinks were amazing. The igloo experience is under whelming but nice for a group Overall poorly managed and lack of care from front desk but the property is beautiful. I was bummed because I wanted to do a silent retreat but since I couldn’t be in my room all day I was not able too. Without the room situation 9 out of 10, with the room and how management handled it 4 out of 10.
