Riu Montego Bay - Adults Only - All Inclusive

We had an excellent experience at Riu Montego Bay! Our room was very clean, housekeeping was excellent!!! Great entertainment each day!

1. Stayed 7 days. Days 4,5,and 6 no coffee in room 2. When coffee was finally replenished coffee pot was dirty 3.phone did not work in room so couldn’t call for assistance. So had to go to customer service and still too another day. Also couldn’t call to get luggage picked up 4. Tried to leave early due to dissatisfaction and was told if I leave wouldn’t get my money back 5. No premium spirits Smirnoff is consider premium. Sigh Cleaning people were great but the minibar people ****** 6. I will never stay here again

The room was very nice! The view was great! Food was amazing! I did not like that most restaurants are by reservation. We didn’t even get to try most of the restaurants, because you can book two days prior. So it was all booked by the time we got there. The staff was not the best, but we came to a realization that most Jamaicans are as nice!

The staff, service was very nice. The room & hotel appeared to be clean but my husband saw a roach. I was disappointed with the rooms being villas and so far from the hotel and the lighting at night was horrible . I do not recommend.

The beach was like a marina, so the beachfront suites weren’t really worth the money for the view. Dining is limited. We were told by the cleaning staff we couldn’t go to the other connected RIUs. There’s only one swim up pool that gets crowded quickly.

I really like the RIU fun group. They tried to get everybody involved in a special shout out to Tokyo, and mosquito who brought the party every time. On a downside for me was being unable to make reservations, even when trying to book days ahead. The app was not allowing for reservations and constantly saying that the restaurants were closed. Some of the staff became rude when asked for small things. For example, the lights in our building constantly were off even in full dark while walking to dinner. I asked twice if someone could please turn them on for our safety we were told to not be scared and that we were safe. As a woman walking alone resort or not, dark corners with people from all over who are drinking and imbibing heavily cannot always be safe and trustworthy. Overall the food was very good in general. Service was good with the exception of some staff. The gym could be bigger, and maybe close the pool an hour later

I had the best stay ever at Riu Montego Bay! I am happy to recommend this resort to any and everyone!

The resort was well kept and clean. The rooms were nice but very basic. The food was a 3 out of 5.

The staff was great, the food was above average, the pools and beach were awesome. It was our first time at an "adults only" property and are not sure we would do it again. Several other patrons were outwardly sexual and quite raunchy. Not judging their choices, just not behavior we like being around.
