オステリア デル ボルゴ(Osteria Del Borgo B&B)

If you are visiting Montepulciano you’ll have a hard time beating the location along with the breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. 4 days 3 nights in the upper apartment did not disappoint. I’ve read some reviews about the steep climb to the apartment… trust me if you can’t handle this you can’t handle Montepulciano! Family was quick to assist me up with my luggage (which was substantial). Fully appointed apartment had everything and more than I needed for my stay. Family is charming and extremely accommodating. I did make reservations for the Friday night of my stay and travelling solo I asked for, but did not expect to get, a coveted terrace table. Not know did I get the terrace but also, what I would consider the best seat in the house! Unobstructed views of the countryside and gorgeous sunset. Add fantastic food, amazing wine coupled with incredible service, and well, it’s one for the record books. Breakfast each day was scrumptious and I thoroughly enjoyed the families banter as they prepared for their day. Highly recommend.

We started with the Chickpea purée with smoked goose breast *****s, Pici with Cabonara of Cinta Senese and Pecorino di Pineda, Beef Sirloin tri-tip with spinach and Brie and roasted potatoes with rosemary. Everything was scrumptious! The views from every direction was simply remarkable.

Great guys running the place. Comfortable bed. Perfect area. Music school next door provided piano and string instrument music through the windows. Amazing. Breakfast was nice, with type and volume of food huge! The apartment was mostly clean, with gorgeous windows and lots of space. Fairly dated furniture, which is fine for wood pieces, not so much for the sofas. Attention to detail lacking. A thorough clean and update, especially the sofas, curtains, accessories etc would do a lot for the place. We had a view out the front, which was ok. The views out the back are gorgeous.

We loved our time in Montepulciano at the Osteria del Borgo! The view from our room was amazingly beautiful and its location on the main piazza was perfect! Continental breakfast at the restaurant helped start our day and the lunch and dinner choices were very good.

We had a wonderful stay at Ostia Del Borgo in apartment Ricci. The apartment is huge, well equipped and located right on the main square, so great location. Dinner on the terrace is also highly recommended, as it has stunning views over the surrounding countryside. Thanks so much for looking after us so well!! We will be back

This property is right off the main Piazza in Montepulchiano. It is located over a restaurant with a side entrance and parking can be arranged down the street. The restaurant is actually very good and provides breakfast each morning. The room itself was nice size and well-appointed. I honestly thought the view out the window was photoshopped when I saw the online pictures, but I'm here to tell you that it's absolutely as fantastic as you want it to be! We enjoyed our stay very much and would happily stay again.

Stay was excellent across the board. Very nice people, great food, comfortable room. Ideally situated next to the Piazza Grande. Would stay here again for sure.

Our two story apartment was very comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were located upstairs, and the kitchen/dining and family room were downstairs. The apartment was very clean. Breakfast was included in the family’s restaurant downstairs. Do not miss their restaurant, as it is very good. Reservations are a must! As the apartment is located in the historical center, we had to drive in the ZTL zone. We were given instructions on how to do this from Francesco. It was very easy and actually a lot of fun to drive the narrow streets. Parking was very close to the apartment and Francesco provided us with a pass, so we wouldn’t be tickets. It all went very smoothly. A special thanks to Francesco and his family for a wonderful time! We surely will be back.
