I recently visited my grandparents and stayed at a hotel that was close to their place. We arrived at the hotel a little before midnight and one of the front desk staff had to check us in. It was his first shift, so we had to be patient while another co-worker helped him. Although it was slightly frustrating after a long day of traveling, we eventually got our keys and went to our room. The room was clean, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. The shower pressure was great too.
However, the ladies who worked at the front desk were a bit condescending when I asked about breakfast (which they didn't provide, only coffee) and a shuttle to the airport (which they also didn't provide). When I asked about a car rental service, one of the ladies told me to refer to my smartphone, even though there was one just two minutes away. It seemed like she was being rude and unhelpful on purpose. On the other hand, all the male staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful.
Overall, I would stay at this hotel again for short trips. It's conveniently located near a Waffle House, which was a nice bonus.
