Everything about our 3 night stay was great. Room #7 is right in front with beautiful beach & water views. Kitchen is fully stocked with full size refrigerator and freezer. Washer & dryer included. One parking space included, which eliminated the need to find a space. Bathroom is large and modern with plenty of hot water. Would definitely stay here again.

Great facilities at a reasonable price in a beautiful location. Literally across the road from the beach. Pretty much had the beach to ourselves given it was the middle of winter but the sun was still shining and the golden sand and the clear blue/green water was still spectacular.

I’ve been staying at kaiteriteri for 50 years. Sadly, it’s a lovely location but the campground could be much much much better. Campers crammed into their patch side by side. We had the maintenance man come and **** trim our site while We were on it on day two of our stay. I don’t understand when it’s off peak check in is 2pm, check out is 10am and you ask for a late checkout and no one is coming on your site but are told “I don’t care what site you are on if you want later checkout you have to pay for another night”. Wow. We had constant stream of people cutting through our campsite. It’s not cheap! Road sweeper at 6.30am in the morning. we watched countless non paying people park at the beach, walk in and use facilities without paying. Even spoke to some.

First, our reservation for 1x adult 2x children was “updated” to 2x adults 1x child due to “minimum charge”. (As well as prices going up after initial booking). Washing machine has gone from $2 to $4. Dryer from $2 per cycle to $2 per 15 minutes (and you’ll need at least 45 minutes if you want your washing drier than it was when you put it in). Boat/trailer wash was 50c now $2. All day car parking is now $5 (used to be free). Reception won’t give cash for above facilities by eftpos - insist you use ATM inside the shop, which charges 1.4% for the “convenience”. God forbid children ride their bikes around the camp now. No fun to be had, just spend money please. Not quite sure WHY they’re trying to drive regulars away, but I’ll certainly be considering Bethany Park next year.

Great location, clean, comfortable beds, washer and dryer. We were able to wash our clothers and bring all clean back home. Super market just bellow the building and 2 restaurants steps away. Great ocean front. Notthing negative to say about it!!! Just wonderful The front office was amazing. I forgot my workout band and they email me asking if i wantes them to mail to my house back in us. Amazing 👏

This review is of the camping ground where we stayed in a caravan in a front road site. The views are outstanding and very close to the beach. The facilities are clean, showers are free but only last 6 minutes. You have to press a button on a panel which is outside the door. I found this a pain it would be better if the button was on the door itself. The real fruit ice creams are very yummy. The downside for us was the pathetic internet. Supposed to be able to get 1gb per day for free, but the signal is so weak, that you can't even log on 99% of the time. In other paid campgrounds we have been to over the past two years or so, you have been allowed 10gb a day for free, and can even stream movies etc. All we wanted to do was browse a few sites like Stuff, Facebook etc, absolutely hopeless. Yes I know there are a lot of other things to do besides surf the web, but for some of us we enjoy doing that in the evening.

We stayed here with our teenage kids in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment following a 4 day hike. It felt like paradise after the DOC huts. The amenities were impressive clean and comfortable. Apartments are conveniently located above the grocery store and the beach is just across the beach. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Stayed in one of the 8 units. Good view of the beach which was right across the street. Had a room with a queen bed, and the loft upstairs had 2 single beds. Good size kitchen, we picked up some food on the way into here, a countdown about 15 minutes drive, so we were well stocked. There is a little food shop, some items were pricey. Late afternoon we noticed some of the sandwiches eat al were half price. Staff was warm and welcoming helped us with our needs. Lots of campers as that is available too. Close to some nice walks and also close to the tours to take you out to other hikes. Washer, dryer, dishwasher and full fridge. Would stay here again. Beautiful sunsets.

Amazing accomodation we will definitely be staying again.
