ウェルカムヘリテージ コンノート ハウス(WelcomHeritage Connaught House)

Royal bungalow has now been transformed into a heritage hotel in Mount Abu. It is situated in the midst of the town and within the walking distance from Nakki lake, but is unaffected from outside noise. We were told by the staffs that it was summer home of the Chief Minister of the princely state of Marwar. It is not a very big property, having around 10 rooms with well-maintained garden, courtyard, parking etc. We stayed in two adjacent rooms in Mar’23. The rooms were spacious having bedroom, drawing room and washroom. The interiors were nice-looking and provides a royal feeling. The room was neat & clean and fitted with all necessary amenities and comforts,washroom was spacious too and fitted with geyser, basic toiletries were provided. The bungalow also has veranda and courtyard, where one can enjoy nature with morning and evening tea and snacks. Our package included breakfast and dinner, in addition we also order evening snacks, which were served from the inhouse restaurant. Both breakfast and dinner were served basis our choice and had sufficient options and homemade taste. The staffs were courteous and responsive. Overall, a calm and comfortable stay.

Our extended family of 12, kids and adults, had a phenomenal experience with Connaught House in Abu. Service , ambiance, rajestani folk show and food were all super spectacular, 10 out of 10. Our entire group was blown away by the attention to detail, swift and friendly service and warm accommodations, all at reasonable prices. After the stay here, we stayed at other 5 star hotels, none which came close to this lovely property.

This hotel belongs to the Jodhana Heritage group. I am a frequent traveler and the three things that top my expectation list are - Cleanliness, location and food. I must say they exceeded my expectance everywhere. The property has been standing sturdy and secure for 100 plus years. The credit surely goes to the royal family of Jodhpur and their loyal staff. The staff from top to bottom is polite, humble and very welcoming. The love with which they serve you food and their warm greetings every time you pass by them makes you feel no less than a royalty yourself. The interior is beautiful, subtle and basic as you would expect in a heritage property. The linens were clean, the housekeeping was attentive and prompt. The property is at a five minutes walk from nakki lake and the nearby market area. The Dilwara temples are 3 minutes by car. Located so close to most tourist attractions but still so peaceful and surreal inside. The place is full of variety of flora and fauna. Our favourite were the ***go and blackberry trees. Had fun aiming at those ***goes with my son using our catapult. Thankyou Ajay Bhat ji and the entire staff for looking after us so well.

Beautiful property. Wonderful service. This property does not offer you much with regards to play areas or swimming pool. But there is so much peace and calm here. Lovely rooms, personalised service and great homely tasty food. There was swing on which we spent a lot of time gazing at the stars and soaking in the sun. The breeze was perfect. Nakki Lake,one of the best lakes I have seen in recent times is walking distance from here. Would definitely come here again.

Incredible experience right from welcome, check-in, dine-in, tasty-food, ambiance, staff-hospitality & nature. We couldn't get enough of it and wish spend more time there. 👍 Mr. Ajay Bhatt was extremely courteous and ensure we are at comfort at all time. 🙏 Mr. Chef took care of our eating preferences and served us with a delicious Dal-Bati, Mungdal Halwa, Lal Mas etc. 👌👌 Now, this is our top preference to stay in Mount Abu. 👍 Highly recommended !! 👌 Thank you entire staff of Connaught House & Keep up the great work !! 🙏

Home away from home.The rooms are tastefully done up with a nice sun room.The food both at breakfast and dinner tasted like a well cooked home made meal.The chef does does work to churn up customised meals catering to individual choices From the ***ager to all staff meets they are very polite and helpful and prompt.Keep up the good work. However the cottage rooms do look a bit dated and the quality of the towels definitely need to improve The glassware andcultlery need improvement.Was not happy to see stainless steel casseroles at breakfast.A beautiful property with excellent staff..which needs some improvement to make it the best..

Perched on a hill, carefully curated designs with sumptuous meals you can only find at one place in Mount Abu. I spent 3 nights with family enjoying the hospitality of the WH team and especially Mr. Nepal Singh’s cuisines.

Impressive approach, well preserved, great history, great service, friendly ***ager, well located, clean rooms, slightly dysfunctional bathrooms - unprepared for the monsoons, decent food, but at times smelly cups or glasses, and very poor internet.

I stayed in this property for a night. Stayed at one of the five cottage suites with 2 bathrooms.Let me break my experience down per highlights and lowlights Highlights - excellent food.if you are a good food seeker, this is the right place for you - Khet Singh from housekeeping was very efficient Lowlights - Rooms lack maintenance and pest control - Room had seepage and rain water was dripping from the ceiling both in one toilet and the bedroom - wooden flooring had been poorly repaired with undulations and unevenness to the flooring - one could trip over especially during the night - Biggest letdown was stained towels, not one but few of them The property definitely has a heritage touch to it, but requires better governance and an uplift in doing up seepage and cleanliness of towel issues In summary, one expects better value for money from a hotel which has tie up with ITC brand of hotels.A let down in that sense.
