BG ホテル レイ デル メディテラニ(BG Rei del Mediterrani)

Me and my boyfriend came here for a week. We’re both quite young compared to the other guests (19) and the way we got treated wasn’t great. It was a lovely hotel, housekeeping staff were amazing. The rest of the staff were a bit hit and miss, some were rude and some were nice. It let down the experience for sure, especially the price we paid to celebrate our anniversary. The rooms were great, location was a nice 15 minute walk to the beach and a 40 minute drive to Palma. The food was absolutely amazing, although some of the waiters and waitresses looked a bit fed up taking drinks orders which wasn’t a nice experience. I’ve been to this hotel before with my mum and it was a totally different experience, staff were kind and helpful then… maybe because we were both so young? I’d definitely say to younger couples to look elsewhere but if you’re in your 30+ perfect place for you. I’d return back with hopes it was just the end of season tiredness but definitely staff need reminding how to give great service to all their guests regardless of any difference. We all work hard to afford our holidays.

The hotel is immaculately clean and well decorated. The dining room is nicely decorated with a range of seating and soft furnishings that make it both stylish and cosy. The food options where tasty and wide ranging. I visited in May so the evening temperature was too low for outside entertainment so it was located in the bar. It was very good and the bar was cosy and had a good atmosphere.

This is a great hotel. The staff are very friendly and most helpful. The location is superb. There is lots to do with a very full programme of events each day. There are some things that would have made this hotel truly 5 star and could be improved upon. For instance there were no complementary tea and coffee making facilities provided, they were an extra charge, as was the use of the safety deposit box in the room and the beach towels. Also no complementary water provided each day. These are small things, but make a difference to the experience of your stay. Our feeling was that we were being treated more as Clients than Guests and this could be better.

Lovely, spotlessly clean hotel with fabulous modern interior design. All inclusive for drinks is great as branded spirits included. My only negative comments : The standard pool view bedroom is compact ! The hot food was disappointing. Very repetitive and often lukewarm. On our first lunch we were served raw chicken so make sure it’s cooked through. The cold food / salad selection was fantastic though. If you are a veggie your hot options are limited too. Loved Cap Blau over the road next to the gym. Stunning location and in the hot summer months it would be glorious to sit and enjoy evening drinks there ( we were snuggled in the blankets provided ! ) Really good entertainment too. Michael Jackson tribute and violin player were fab !

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rei Del Mediteranni Palace. The staff were very friendly our room was kept immaculately clean with fresh linen etc every day. It was our first visit to Majorca but I suspect we will return very shortly and the Rei Del Meditranni will be our first choice when we do.

The hotel is lovely, I do have a problem with the food , I need gluten free and this was my third visit to Rei del Mediterrani Palace , I keep hoping things will improve but they don’t , nothing in the restaurant is labelled, which is in this day and age is not acceptable , not only for gluten but for people with nut allergies or dairy and they just do not seem to care , I do it mean the staff , i mean the hotel group , I am soto say I probably will not return

We had an amazing all inclusive experience! The staff is absolutely lovely and helpful, speaking multiple languages. The food was incredible with a very large variety. A barbecue was even organised one night. The room was lovely as well, with a terrasse. The hotel plans activities every day such as yoga, arrow shooting, football and more. There were some events organised as well like circus and live music.

This hotel is great visually,lots of design details .Watching people trying to find a comfortable seat in the bar area was entertaining every night ,as there are none of them you can relax in .All style but no comfort .The hotel is very clean,rooms not large ,but pleasant.Some staff were very unhelpful especially the guy with long grey hair and glasses,several people commented on his attitude,he was on reception so not great with people.The food was ok ,but not wonderful.The pool area was nice ,but try and get a decent cup of coffee in the day time was impossible,the pool bar served the smallest cafe con Leche in a plastic beaker the size of a egg cup,yet they served drinks in glasses..Would we stay here again ,definitely not.

Me and my partner visited this beautiful hotel in October 2023 as our first ever holiday together. When we arrived we were blown away with how beautiful the hotel was! Our room was so clean and the views from the hotel room were amazing! Every member of staff were so polite and made us feel very welcome. One member of staff overall made our experience memorable, this was Martin. Martin went above and beyond with his kindness which honestly made our holiday. Me and my partner loved how attentive and kind he was, going above and beyond to make sure you were having the best experience. The poolside was so beautiful, even if the pool was too cold for me! I have read a few reviews on here about this place and I am so pleased that I didn’t let this put me off because this place is amazing. Me and my partner were a young couple and felt so welcome even when reading some reviews. My only critique would be that there should be kettles in the rooms as you do have to pay per day to hire these. With the hotel being a 4*+ they should be in the rooms with no extra cost. Overall the food was amazing, the hotel was clean, the hotel was beautifully decorated and for me Martin was that extra golden star on your reviews. Thank you for making our first couples holiday such a memorable one and thank you to Martin for making us feel so comfortable and so welcome, you should feel very lucky to have such amazing staff. We will 100% be back in the future ❤️
