We spent 2 nights at the lodge for gorilla trekking and golden monkeys. Our trip was all arranged by Daniel at the lodge who did a fantastic job. It also included 2 nights in Kigali and a driver to and from the airport. When we arrived at the lodge we were warmly greeted by the staff and given ginger tea and a cookie. The lodge itself is rustic but very nice and comfortable. We had hot water bottles each night in our bed and the fire was going. The food was fantastic! After gorilla trekking our shoes were taken off and we enjoyed a foot massage. Our shoes and gaiters were returned all clean. Overall our stay was absolutely wonderful and we definitely recommend it!

Perfect hotel where to stay while visiting Volcanoes National Park for your gorilla trekking. Nice guestrooms with fireplace and fire butler + hot water bottle placed in your bed on cold nights. Nice menu and friendly restaurant staff. After gorilla trekking they clean your boots and offer a foot massage. Great sunset views from the top floor bar.

This is the perfect base for gorilla and golden monkey trekking as it is so close to the park entrance. But what made my visit even more special was the attention of the staff, who take huge pride in their work. I’m a strict vegetarian and they not only catered to my needs, but the food was absolutely delicious. (Note that there is no WiFi in the rooms, but plenty in the main lodge, which is comfortable and a lovely place to sit and spend time.) I felt completely comfortable staying there as a solo visitor and thank the entire team for a wonderful stay.

The staff at this lodge is first class. A lot of attention to detail. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. From assisting to put on gaiters for treks, to foot massages and boot washing after, to placing hot water bottles to warm beds each evening to lighting a roaring fire in the room and coal warmers in the bar and dining room. The rooms were very large and comfortable. They were also spaced far enough apart for privacy. Food was pretty good. Quantities were medium size by North American standards. Not of gourmet quality but certainly good by any standard. Setting of the lodge is within an easy drive of the gorilla trek meeting site and has a beautiful view of surrounding volcanoes. Especially from the bar upstairs. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Good Location for treks to Volcano NP. The service, ambiance, and grounds all have the luxury resort feel. Both the little touches, (e.g. sit down check in with tea, fireplace lit while you're at dinner, and foot massage after trek) and special requests (e.g. I wanted $100 billion broken, didn't have it so they went to bank and came back to me at dinner, forget something in your room, they rush down to pick it up.) this put me at ease. Kudos to Julius and Ghislane. Food was great. Surrounded by flower gardens filled with birds. An area for improvement, hot water was scalding hot and shower control was janky.

5 stars!⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. What a beautiful, peaceful property. The service ( attention to detail), food, assistance with touring, the staff, the view of the mountains , the floral aromatic grounds, the charming rooms( I could go on and on), were absolutely beyond my expectations. I highly recommend spending your time in the Musanze, Volcanoes area with Ingagi Park View Lodge!!❤️
