Clean sheets, warm room, amazing shower after hiking over Thorong La Pass. Food was delicious but a bit slow in the restaurant. Found a few bugs in the bedroom but nothing alarming. My friend’s bathroom was broken despite the promise of it being one of their best rooms.

Amazing staff and perfect location to get some good rest and sleep after the long hike over the Thorong-La pass. The dinner and breakfast was very good, comfortable beds and a very nice and warm shower. I can highly recommend this place to everyone

Shambala hotel is a place we visited after Himalaya trekking. I visited because our trekking guide strongly recommended this hotel. The staff served me very politely. There are so many food on the menu in the restaurant, and whole menu possible. There is also a terrace where we can see the scenery and rest. I think this hotel is best place in this area.

Awesome place with good hospitality! The food was very good. The rooms were also cozy. The service was good and all staffs were polite. We had an awesome time in Hotel Shambala during our stay at Muktinath!

Worst hotel, staff, facility and what troubled me was RACISM. How can hotel give two seperate treatment one for locals and seperate one for foreigners. Rooms are very basic with no heating. You pay exorbitantatly rate of INR 5000 to get heater in the room. After travelling length and breadth on the world, staying in all types of hotels (5 stars to no stars), motels, inns, I am cursing myself if going to this third rate hotel not because of facilities but stnking RACISM. How can you not serve a cup of tea to a guest who is waiting for 45 minutes and suddenly roll out a red carpet to foreign guests who anyways pays the same tariff as me. I aid for room and breakfast. The owner is such a joker who I saw serving to foreign guests(drilling) like a slave and was completely ignoring other guests (Napales and Indians). I will never visit this third rate hotel in my life but also make sure that no travel agent gives him the biz. He did not utter a word, no remorse on face when I left the place without having a breakfast for which they collected payment in advance. I feel like wasting my time and energy in writing a review for such a third rate hotel and it's racist management. Purpose is to share with you all the latest incident happened today (Oct 25th 2022). It's upto you to decide and experience if you want to. There are many hotels in and around Muktinath that you can select from but Grand Shambala. I wonder how the Prime Minister of India was treated when he used this hotel just for a comfort break - used washroom only. There is an another evidence of poor and shaby owner is when he displays a photograph the India PM.

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, friendly staff and delicious food. Definitely recommend the place to enjoy your stay at muktinath.The rooms were clean and hygienic and the prices affordable. If you want to have a Mustang experience, Hotel Shambala is what you should seek. Their welcoming and service are awesome.

Excellent food, reasonably priced, very good accommodation. Good location. A great place to stay on our hike and best place on Annapurna circuit. Beds comfortable and clean rooms. Ensuite shower. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Sam!
