I stayed off season, this is in the heart of the busy area during peak season in Myrtle, so it may be a little different or very crowded during peak season. The seasonal bar and restaurant is closed, for example, but it looks nice.
This hotel is directly on the beachfront. Room was pretty clean, nice and comfortable. Gorgeous views. Kitchen was a huge plus (fridge, counter, microwave and oven) and parking was convenient (off season)
Main drawback is that the resort is split into a few buildings on the same block so the continental breakfast isn’t directly in the building but right across the street. Not a huge deal, but takes away some of the convenience factor.
Also, the stairs are not accessible going up from the lobby, the door only opens on the exiting side from the stairwell so you can go down from upstairs but not up on the steps.
It also looks like the pool is a wading pool, not swimming. The backyard and view of the ocean from the hotel is fantastic.
