ブルー ヘロン モーテル(Blue Heron Motel)

I have known the Blue Heron for many years. I knew it was an older motel. Our room was very clean, The water was so nice and soft. No noise, no disturbances. Ice machine was well accessible. I had reserved a King bed/room and they took my reservation. When we got there, we were told that all of the king rooms/beds were being worked on. Wife asked about a Queen. No, we don't have any. So we went from a King to a double with no apology, refund or anything. We were the 1st to check in that day. I know it was winter time at the beach but they should have told me they had no king rooms available and let me make other arrangements. They should have marked these rooms off as not available when you reserved them. That overrode any good things that I received from them.

I was really surprised when I rented a room here. I had a late appt and didnt want to drive at night. The room was so clean to me , spacious and had a kitchenette !! The king size bed was nice and neat with crisp sheets and pillow cases I would like to stay here during the Summer one day because there is privacy on the porch with a double high chair A heavy one !. The mattress was perfect for me . They spared no expense on it. I need to find out that brand because I want one just not as big.. I was very pleased and hope I will be able to stay there again in the future for a few days .

My first time staying there. Very impressive. Old but well kept. Had a very large and water front room. Check i was great.Staff very pleasant. Pet friendly which is a plus for me.went ahead and booked foe September. Will probably be back before then.

Heater did not work at night, but appreciated the free pet lodging that was given in return

First off i booked ocean view he tried to put us in a non ocean view room. Saying all ocean view were filled. He lied its off season. The room was falling apart. The light switch plate in bathroom was hanging off the wall. This room need lots of repairs. Never will i stay here again.

Check in at kiosk was fine. Room was clean with excellent shower pressure and soft towels. Sand is creeping up on this beachfront hotel so gets everywhere but great place to stay.

Everything was good, except for the check-in procedure. They use a 'live' person in front of a picture background. I had to register using this kiosk. There was a person behind the desk., he should have been able to conduct the registration. I prefer to work face to face, not yhrough video.

We didn't mind that the motel was old and dated, becuase it was comfortable and enjoyed the balcony and view of the ocean. There was always hot water. However, the property was not well maintained. the screen to the porch was ripped and an outlet did not work on the cabinet. We also had no soap and had to request that and an extra hand towel. We had NO housekeeping until the day we were to check-out. The check-in by kiosk was ok and the staff on the otherside of the camera was pleasant, friendly, and polite. It was a little impersonal though and would have preferred a human presence to check-in.

Very clean, but definitely needs some updating. Other than that, great place to stay by the beach! We had a room with 2 double beds, microwave and fridge. Comfortable for all of us.
